Bourdain was the only thing good about CNN.

Sad to see him go.

No need for jokes here.

It doesn’t matter how you voted. His show was educational, thoughtful and one of a kind. I’m going to miss it and him.

He was a smug miserable cokehead negative dick his whole life. Let this be a lesson to people on how not to live your life.

sucks that he's dead, but he was a smug douche.

Thats not him at all.

And this thread is illustrating which posters never read his work or watched his shows.

I don't see why that's relevant to my opinion of him.

I don’t hate anyone as much as that Bourdain hated Trump.

And I don’t like anything as much has that guy secretly likes cheese-flavored sauces.

He was pretty embarrassed about the latter sometimes.

regardless of one's thoughts regarding Bourdain as a personality - any death in this manner at any age is a straight up tragedy. His loved ones are broken and will be forever broken.

News like this frightens me considering how frequently it seems to come up. It's a constant reminder to keep closer watch of all of my loved ones. You just never know what's truly going on in someone else's head.

You've never watched his shows then. More like, "Mmm, crispy grasshopper brains served in local motor oil and blood sauce. Delicious. You should come here and enjoy this." He encouraged people to travel and try new things outside of their comfort zone.

Waffle House is awesome. But you are 100% correct that Bourdain is capable of showing the world why a place like that is a treasure to be appreciated.
