that's who should play.

I don’t get how so many people can make the sane dumbass post over and over.

This thread isn’t about who SHOULD start, it’s an observation of our HC and a prediction of who WILL start.

You're a freakn moron. So Brennan and Narcisse weren't hand picked and you don't think he wanted Brennan to start over Etling last year? Of course he did but the guy didn't have the talent. O wants to win games for LSU not play his hand picked QB. What a total dipshit. My goodness this place is absurd.

You’re the idiot by showing your lack of reading comprehension skills. I said “Burrow” is Orgeron’s first handed picked QB since he has been HC at LSU and that’s a fact. He had nothing to do with the recruiting and offering of scholarships to MB, JM or LN. But he has had everything to do with screwing up the entire offense and the QB position for the last year and a half. O was the only reason why Brennan did not play more last year. Canada wanted Brennan because he thought he was playing for the future and O wanted Etling because he was playing day to day.

I don't know anything baw, I'm just making an observation. An opinion. I watched all the video I could find on YouTube for all 4 QBs and there are things that stand out. McMillan tends to stare down his receivers almost every time. Watch Burrow, he looks at the defense, he's going through progressions. I don't see much of that with the others. They look at their primary receiver and if it isn't there they throw it away or run for their life. Very few bad throws from Burrow. Just my opinion.

O is going to play and played the QB who gives and gave LSU the best chance to win. Which is exactly what a HCs job is to do.

I know exactly what you said but you don't seem to realize what you're saying makes zero sense. What I'm telling you is that Myles B and Lowell N were also hand picked to play QB here at LSU by O but weren't ready so he went with Etling who was already here and gave LSU the best chance to win games.

If what you're saying is true (which it isn't) then Myles B would have started last year, not Etling. All Orgeron did was talk about how talented Myles B was but he didn't start over Etling. The only time O meddled in the offense was for Troy and that was with the OL bc the OL was struggling with all the pre snap movement.

After the Troy game the OL started to improve so whatever was done or said after or during that game worked for our OL. I just can't stand you idiots who come on here saying ignorant things about LSU when you have the slightest clue as to what really went down.

What our offense was last year was all designed by Canada not Orgeron. Orgeron wanted a more multiple type of offense but what we ended up with was something very similar to what Les Miles gave us. Canada knew that we didn't have the OL to drop back and pass so he ran the ball in different ways. Our strength was the run game and so that's what he designed the offense around.

Orgeron wants a more multiple type of offense that keeps the defense guessing with the play call not the offense itself. You don't have to be good at something to run it occasionally in order to keep a defense off guard. Just make sure you execute. That's what Steve did in 2016. He designed simple plays to the TE or FB in the flats, off of play action to keep the defense guessing and it worked. He also designed the jet sweep in one or two games not every game so the defense wasn't prepared for it when it was ran. He did new things in every game. It doesn't have to be all that complicated to work and Steve E knows this.

Once again you demonstrate how clueless you really are. O did NOT offer either one of the QBs you mentioned a scholarship. Neither one of them committed to Orgeron. The were recruited by and committed to Miles and Cameron. Burrow is the first QB that O can say was his hand pick with no other influences. He will live or die with Burrow. And another thing, I promise you I know exactly what went down between Canada and Orgeron and the QBs. Let’s just leave it at that.

lol..supposed to lose to miami? They had a good season last year when they didnt play anybody...besides that , they are a program stuck in mediocrity. Lsu isnt quite there yet, were a much better program.remember what happened last time lsu played miami.

Orgeron did not lose anyone in the offseason who was not already anti Orgeron. He still needs to have a strong start as that is his and our expectation

If he is NOT starting we are in serious trouble simply due to the energy put into getting him here and the energy around his transfer. If he is not starting look directly at O and his cronies and not being able to develop him.

IMO, the whole point of being excited about Burrow is that he has already been developed. He just needs to an offense catered to his talents. The offensive staff should just have to develop said offense and teach it. Of course he is going to continue to develop, but the ground work has been done already supposedly.

I'm going to break this to you, and I hope you're sitting down. Coach O isn't worried about what the fans think, or he would have hired a hot-shot OC.

Serious question:

When can Burrow join the team for practices and workouts? Do we have him all Summer?
