You people and your negative Baton Rouge / LA shite is so repetitive.

“Baton Rouge is trashy because it can’t get a Top Golf!”

“We got a Top Golf? It will be trashy in two years!”

“Top Golf is doing great? That’s trashy!”

“Top Golf closed? That’s trashy!”

“Baton Rouge and LA suck but I won’t move. I will just complain!”

I’m thinking 180-200. No where near 350’ was hoping someone on here may be working that project and know.

It's one of the fastest growing businesses in the country.

I hope they build the side nets high enough, I'm liable to hook one on to I-10

I’m not sure how high is high enough but I passed by over the weekend and they are pretty damn tall. They dwarf the 3 crosses across the interstate

Yeah, TopGolf is currently building like 10 new locations right now with probably two dozen more scheduled to start constructing in the next 18 months.

To say they're dying is asinine.

Too bad you're not legally allowed to cross state lines so you'll never get to visit the glory that is a BR Top Golf.

I'll probably go occasionally. I've been to the one in Birmingham. It's fun.

I drove by that thing last week and the first thing that came to mind is the proximity to I-10 and how it won't take long for a group of drunk college guys to start peppering the interstate with golf balls.

eta: Actually, after googling some pics, this is the set up they're building. You could easily life one right over the shorter netting.

No you can't, they use fligted balls so they only go about 75% as far as normal golf balls

It's not like the fence is a few feet away from the interstate. I'm sure it can be done but it's a lot further and higher than you think

Nice so my 300 yard Top Golf drives will turn into 400 yard drives at Webble Beach.

It’s really sad that as a society we worship golf more than Jesus
