caught this next cast lol.. both were caught on bottom, using a minnow. Was about 100yds up the mouth of a creek on the pearl river in MS. We ended up catching 24 total on the day. Mix of catfish and bass

Maybe. Tail on the bottom fish looks a little shorter, kinda like a fly bream. Eyes look identical!

That was a pretty one. Probably a male. Those little perch sure have some pretty colors when spawning.

Bream fishing in Concordia parish got checked by green jeans. Took a survey of our catch. Out of about 60 fish we had 6 different species of “bream”. Pretty cool

I caught a really pretty bream this weekend and wasn't really sure what kind it was. Looks kinda like a mixture of a few different types. If I knew how to post pictures on here I'd put him up.

One benefit of my girlfriend coming fishing with me is that when she gets on the bream, I get to see some really nice ones while I strike out bass fishing.

Yes it does look very similar. Mine had a little more orange in it than that one. Really aggressive fish. He was not going to let a senko get by him. I filleted him with the bass and I know it had a nice fillet on it.
