Thirty something miles in Yosemite. Planned for more but we were beat since we hit some peaks including the highest point in the park.

Wheeler Pass National Recreation Trail

13.4 Miles over 4,734’

Not the longest I’ve done, but the most impressive.

One time i did a 5 mile trail... met a guy named Sponge... Sponge had a mut named dildo (well, that's what he called him)... great weed... better acid... ended the hike throwing frisbees off the side of a mountain while drinking Miller Lite

That's legit the best story I've heard in a minute. Sounds awesome.

Through hiking the AT is one of my bucket list items also.

Would be awesome to do it, the Continental Divide and Pacific Rim.

Currently section hiking a trail that’s 323 miles long and I’m O&B it so I’ll end up doing close to 650 when I’m done in October.

This is practice for my PCT thru-hike I’m planning for 2019 which will be a grand total of 2,580 as I’m going SOBO

Homemade wanderlusts videos are good, but she’s not making any of hers out there. She sends the raw footage to a friend back home and he puts it all together (notice the good quality and effects)

Who I really respect and enjoy watching are the ones who put their vids together in the trail towns when they finally have internet, which is what I plan on doing.

In college I hiked in the Grand Canyon. I think we did four days on the South Rim side, and the words Tanner Trail, Escalante Route, and Horseshoe Mesa all ring a bell. I remember the first day was something like 12+ miles downhill and then we made camp at some rapids. Our group was smart and set up a fair distance from the river, while another unaffiliated group decided to be as close as possible. Sometime in the night the Dam released some water and the Colorado rose enough to force a relocation.

I have a friend's sister who's doing the Camino right now, she started early April and is set to finish this weekend. The pictures he showed me are beautiful, but man no way would I do that.
She has a seasonal job, which allows her that much time off. But I'm not going to pretend that's what holding me back

A friend sent me a hiking video via YouTube and I stumbled across this Auburn chick who was kind of cute who did the whole Appalachian Trail.
Homemade wanderlust is her handle. I would watch an episode per night before going to bed average time about 15 minutes. A slow progression travel log was kind of soothing And you come across some real drama. Has anyone here Done a hike of any impressive length like this?

Will Wood "Red Beard" has a pretty good channel on his AT thru hike as well.

It is a dream of mine to hike the AT. I don't know how these people find the time. I feel like there is a small window when you're young when you can do it before life gets too in the way.
