He made some really good throws... and some really bad obese sailing a ball with a safety high was bad.
That Marshall throw was nice. He would have died if this was a live game.

King Lowell looked worse than Brennan. He needs to use his legs more when the pocket starts to collapse.

The QBs kept missing him. He looked to be open often and had maybe 10 targets.

Honestly, after watching, I think you have 3 solid QBs.
Problem is, each of them has a totally different game style, and one offense will not fit all 3 (which has really been the case the last few years). Whichever QB is on the field, you have to have almost a different offense (Brennan - pro-style/Spread passing; McMillan - RPO; Narcisse - Read Option). Trying to fit one of these guys into something they aren't comfortable with is a recipe for disaster.

McMillan knowing precisely when to leave the pocket and scramble was clearly evident. He moves at a quick tempo in those play action passes and even threw one well moving to his right. I think his type of game is perfect for this team (and college football in general).
I expected it to be between Narcisse and Brennan but now I'm like everyone else and not sure what to think. If it's McMillan that ends up being the starter, I can definitely support it after seeing his strengths.

Shelvin busted through a couple of Double teams when Brennan was in and I could only imagine what he was thinking. I was impressed with Travez Moore considering he has only been with the team a few months.

Narcisse's TD to Jefferson never happens in a real game. He would have been face planted. The long pass to Sullivan might not have happened either.
With that said, if our OL doesn't drastically improve, McMillan and Narcisse probably give us the best chance to scramble and make something happen. Brennan does not look comfortable without a clean pocket.

Brennan had absolutely no time to throw and can't run like the other 2 guys out of the pocket. He clearly has the most arm talent. Really wish we could give him time to throw, because he'd be our best bet if we could.

Few things I saw, not that it's worth much.
1. McMillian looked the best in the game. His arm strength is lacking and he tends to throw off his back foot when pressured. A problem that will likely get worse when faced with dudes who can actually hit you.
2. Brennan made all the right reads and very few of the throws. It appears he gets rattled easily when things don't go his way. He's decent at escaping initial pressure but doesn't have the wheels to escape for long.
3. Narcisse is just a mess throwing the ball. His foot work is terrible, he rarely made a decent read and the only 2 good pass plays he had were because the receiver made a damn good catch. I would like to see what he when the D actually has to tackle him running rather than just get a hand on him though.

Something I noticed was low and inconsistent release points for both Brennan and Narcisse. Brennan seems to get a little too cute at times with the side arm crap, but his natural release point is extremely low and he will keep having balls batted at the line. Narcisse just has that typical wonky lefty motion. The worst part about it is that he shows the ball to the backside rush way too much. It's a strip-sack waiting to happen.
