Their narrative? Yea, the breakdowns of demographics for that election are not out of line with any other election in recent history. Race was only an issue with progressives, Terrorism and the Economy were the biggest issues for Trump voters.

Does the textbook have any commentary on why many in and out of this demographic may also have voted anti-Clinton:
a) Pro-life vs murder fetus' or is that just Christian belief?
b) Any tired of watching our country's traditional marriage of man and woman be destroyed by the detestable?
c) How about small areas of concern like sharing bathrooms with pedofiles and/or transgenders?

What a narrow definition in a historical textbook of modern day America. If you added all of the negatives of "the accused" demographic, it wouldn't even begin to tip the scales to their favor relative to the moral decay and self delusion the remaining demographics character codify in today's world.
It seems to be a unique trait of the left that if you are not a member, you are to blame for everything. History here and in the past has actually taught us a different set of truths.

I remember our history teachers in H.S. telling us Reagan was the worst President in US history and going on and on about it and most people just tuned him out or walked.

Does the passage in question say that the following descriptions are generally the way Trump voters appear to Hillary voters?
Or, does the passage just say that that's how Trump voters are and the article is saying that the textbook's description is from a Hillary Clinton's voter perspective?

Did the chapter on the election also describe that many voters simply voted AGAINST Clinton because they heard over and over that she had committed multiple felonies over decades? Serious question.
I wouldn't have a big problem that the chapter tried to describe the motivations of voters, but call it both ways.
