OK. This is like the 10th time.

The word is aisle.

Isle is an Island.

Correct!

"What side of the isle are you on?" was the question belatedly posed to Guam residents just before their island tipped over.

Well, Jesus did call a Canaanite woman a dog (Matthew 15:26; Canaanites were seen by Jews as an inferior race), but to be fair, nobody actually wrote down anything Jesus said or did until decades later so the story is almost certainly inaccurate (maybe he called her a donkey instead?); he was just expressing the prevailing ethnocentrism of the time period and actually did perform the requested exorcism (lawl); and there are no perfect translations so the original meaning is entirely open to interpretation (like most of the Bible).

Defunding public schools is the answer. Accurate share per public student should be available to parents for private school vouchers.

Great argument. I’ll remember that one the next time we’re talking about crime statistics, public assistance, graduation rates or who pays the most/least taxes.

Glad that race is now in the table when discussing such things.

I think letting historians teach history makes sense.

Call me crazy, but elites are only hated in politics. In every other walk of life, being elite is a good thing. Mannings are good at stuff? Genetics. Kennedys are good at stuff? Deep state.

How is this accurate? These are feelings and poll results. These are not actual historical fact.

I voted for Trump because Hillary made my stomach turn. That also doesn't belong in a textbook.

Charlatans are hated in every field, except politics.

The bozos you reference ARE NOT HISTORIANS. They are partisan OpEd writers.

I don't either, however we are to be holy as He is holy (1 Pet. 1:16), be perfect as the Father (Matt. 5:48), and keep Jesus' commandments (John 14:15). Therefore those who hate the image-bearers of God because of the color of their skin are in sin and should repent.

He didn't actually call her a dog. He was using a metaphor. And if you kept reading, you'd see that He had mercy on her because of her faith, which meant that she actually became one of Christ's "sheep". He healed her daughter because of her faith rather than rejecting her in spite of her faith because of her lineage, which is what the Bible teaches about race: God judges "sheep" and "goats" based on faith, not the color of their skin.

Christian doctrine teaches that God inspired the writers to write accurately. If the Holy Spirit was moving the authors to write, it doesn't matter how far removed in time they were from Jesus' actual words.

Years from now, you really don't think this is how this era is going to be remembered?

Not a chance in hell!

It will likely be how obamasocialist sycophant historians try to convey it though.
