Same reason Fox News opened up the other night with a insignificant skirmish after a women’s basketball game with the ref. None of this is national news. It’s hand selected dog whistles to make little fibers in people’s heads stand up.

Won’t work. Too many stores, undoubtedly something that can be misconstrued occurs near daily in a Starbucks somewhere. The protestors won’t stop until they’ve done damage.

Nothing will ever top the BLM brunch protests in liberal cities like Baltimore and Portland

Those were comedic gold

Seems like people would try to get more info before taking a hard stance on one side or another.

Why? Black is victim, White is racist no matter what the situation. The analysis doesn't take long or much info.

I'm glad that Starbucks called the cops even though they hate law enforcement and have a nationwide policy not to serve them.

The only way this could've been better is if a manager or franchise owner used his concealed carry to defend his property from this criminal threat

You know what's funny? You know where I see the most "No Loitering" signs? In predominantly black neighborhoods. They're on almost every place of business.

I guess they're all racist too.

Were the two black guys being disruptive or combative? Being rude to patrons or employees? If they were just waiting on a friend to meet them as they said, there has to be more to the story.

But in any case, a manager has the right to tell people to leave his or her place of business, as well as the right to take whatever criticism that may accompany that decision.

I am not sure this is more retarded then the people rioting against whites after a black man was shot by a black cop with a black chief , mayor and president.

If there is video of that I bet we don’t see it.

I just had the attitude of the protest.

Protest: Hey that was fricked up!

Starbucks: we know. We are sorry and the manager lost his job.

Protest: frick you. Not good enough.

I've never understood the "let's boycott X business because some idiot at one of it's stores did something dumb.

I mean, even if you assume the Starbuck's employee did it for 100% racial reason, it isn't friggin company policy.

Wasn't it Philly who banned a few businesses from putting security bars on the windows because it "perpetuated a racist expectation of crime" or something?

I'd be willing to bet the store manager and/or employees who tried to lay down the law weren't white.

In that second "bathroom" video that Shaun King was circulating, the Los Angeles Starbucks manager who wouldn't give the black guy the bathroom key since he hadn't purchased anything was a strong young Latina.

Having managed many employees, this is true and scary. You can hire someone who, to the best of your knowledge, is a good fit for the job and company. One mistake by an employee can cost you your job at the hands of the pitchfork wielding PC mob regardless of any defense you or the company has.

Now, if the manager has a history of hiring boneheads, then that's another case entirely. Unfortunately companies today aren't being allowed to handle matters like this internally as they should be. There has to be a public hanging to satiate the idiotic masses.

Decent chance.

I'm just speaking to the general point because this isn't the first time.

Even if you believe a particular store did something awful in Philly.........boycotting your local Starbuck's over it is asinine.

Shows how will fully obtuse most people choose to be. Go look at murder rates for blacks against other blacks, then go look how many people (not just blacks) were killed by police last year.

Well duh. That is because police aren’t out there trying to hurt anyone.

What is Starbucks' loitering policy? I called them and was referred to a link that doesn't work. Anybody know?

Whatever it is, there wouldn't be a story here if they were consistent in enforcing it.

The only good thing about modern liberalism is that it’s almost as likely to harm liberals as anyone else.

That’s it. Nothing else about it is good.
