had the same exact come to Jesus in 2012 with my tickets when we played a top 10 matchup against #3 USCe and I couldn't give away a pair. Makes no sense to be a season ticket holder when I can walk up at any game, except for maybe Bama, and buy tickets at or under face.

The first year we played Aggie at home i sold a pair for $700, but I sold them early in the season before they came back to earth. Yor not getting those prices anymore.

I agree. These are the same people that sit on their hands and leave at halftime. Sorry but you won't be missed.

Can’t confirm, but their renewals were up above average as of a few months ago.

Hated them anyway. They were too low(14th row). Couldn't see shite on the other side of the field.

Also noticed that LSU used to charge $10 to get on the waiting list for tickets and parking. It was free this year.

Is there still a waiting list?

There was no way to know if renewals were up before the deadline passed. It was just a note about what they thought concerning annual donations based on end of year contributions, or “early renewals” (likely highly influenced by new tax laws), and email feedback.

Yeah, the nerve of people, expecting a quality experience, a competitive product on the field, and not enjoying being raped at the concession stand and the parking lot for their thousands of dollars per year. They probably complain about taxes and traffic in Baton Rouge too.

BS. Exactly how would someone renew a few months ago? I wasnt aware there was an option to not renew earlier than march 31st

I certainly would have taken advantage of that opportunity earlier.

The drop is primarily related to tax laws. People that can now afford season tickets are usually wealthy enough to itemize, so there was always a tax benefit. With that gone, the tickets are worth much less. If they lower the prices maybe some of the true fans can become season ticket holders again and Tiger Stadium will not be a shell of its former self. I think this could be good for the environment at Tiger Stadium in the long run.

Because they continue to squeeze every cent possible out of it. They build more shite they don't need, push parking further and further away and then charge you outrageous amounts for it. Tailgating experience gets neutered more and more every year. It takes three hours to leave , minimum, when everyone actually stays the whole game. Concessions ran out of stuff all last season, and that should have been fixed after the first Saturday - instead it continued all season including when temps were dangerously high to not have ice or bottled water. The music is all piped in horseshite now when the band should always be the Stars. Then it's little shite like charging people $10 to get on a waiting list to spend thousands. That is just pure arrogance. Alleva and F King need to go.

Joe alleva has been terrible for the culture of LSU athletics. Just completely corporatized the whole thing. No thought was put into how it would affect one of LSU’s greatest assets, a world class atmosphere.

There will be a decrease in renewals and it is directly correlated with the decrease of pride in the program due to the current state of affairs.

Once the fans are once again proud of the program and the direction it is headed people won't hesitate to invest their hard earned dollars to support the program.

Similar to the upward trajectory of the Men's Basketball program.

Because buying a ticket should guarantee that the team never loses?

You guys are such crybabies.

I get back ~160 from the 800 in fees I paid for tickets.

I didnt stop donating to TAF as well. The majority of season ticket holders are in a similar situation. It has nothing to do with taxes. But is a nice excuse for LSU to use while ignoring the real reason.

You are doing it wrong if this is true. I have been attending all home games for many years including the big games when the stadium was packed at the end of the game. It has never taken me more than 30 minutes to be in free flowing traffic.

I get so tired of people exaggerating about parking and traffic.
