I’ve heard that LSU has extended the March31 renewal deadline, can anyone confirm?

As far as I can remember, I’ve never seen them extend football renewal deadlines in the past. It is likely an indication of the anticipated drop in renewal rates.

The deadlines have never been firm cutoffs. If you don't renew by a week or do late, they will email and call you with a reminder.

That's said, I'm pretty sure demand is lower than it has been in a long time.

I let mine go and today I got an email from fedex about a package. (Not expected) well..it was a letter fedex from LSU about my TAF is due! I’m done.
Had tickets since 1993.
You can’t even get face value for them when you can’t make it, you damn sure can’t recoup the cost of the TAF fees, you can get tickets to any game you want anytime.
And i will tell you when I made the decision to get rid of them: 2012-13 or so when a lower ranked (but ranked) Florida team came to TS, for a night game, and I could not GIVE AWAY a free ticket. Since 2013 I’ve had someone buy them TAF and all, and last year they said crap on it as well, so adios. Only got so much free time, and I hunt and I fish ALOT which is not cheap either. So it is what it is.

Let mine go. zerO excitement for LSU with Coach O leading the charge.

Also, new tax laws are going to hurt college athletic departments.

lol I guess they knew I was serious when I sent in the email cancelling and stating I will not renew until LSU has a real coaching search.

Ruffin Rodrigue made a crazy comment about me seeing the West upper come down in my lifetime. That’s a bit extreme and crazy if you ask me but sales are def down.

LSU’s ticket prices are a house of cards. When being a season ticket holder loses its cool factor, the house comes crashing down.

I had the same exact come to Jesus in 2012 with my tickets when we played a top 10 matchup against #3 USCe and I couldn't give away a pair. Makes no sense to be a season ticket holder when I can walk up at any game, except for maybe Bama, and buy tickets at or under face.

At this point the only purpose I can see in season tickets is if you're one of the traveling fans that HAS to be in the designated LSU section, or you make every bowl game and want to be 100% sure you get your seats through LSU.

The only other benefit is price protection against those "game of the century" type deals that come along every so often, but with the current state of the program I don't see that being an issue any time soon.

Yep. They are bugging the shite out of me because I didn't renew. Extended through 13 and sending something to me via FedEx. Sorry but I have decided to not renew.

My father-in-law told me he received an email stating that he had the option of purchasing additional south stadium club seats. They had limited him to 8 previously.

Pirate King will be here shortly to tell you they are selling more. plenty of people will snatch them up if you decide to part with yours, because you aren't a true fan unless you have overpriced season tickets.
