Could we flip this around?
“If you are a minority, and can’t be bothered to not blare your shitty music, or not have your trashy friends over loitering and causing problems, or not invite a bunch of people who don’t live There to come to the community pool and sit around it, maybe you don’t deserve to live in a white community.”

So if white people refuse to live there, it's white flight, if they move there, it's gentrification. You just can't win with some people.

My husband, who was ranting that dude shouldn't have been shot, came over and watched that video. My husband, ex military, looked and thought it was a gun and muttered "right to carry....would have shot him"

Sorry my neighbors were given $350,000 for their tear-down house that they paid $40k for 20 years ago. I feel so badly for them. They must've been forced to take that huge check.
I literally had one argue with me that the income from selling their house would make them ineligible for some government assistance and that is why they didn't want to sell it. It was an approximately 50 year old woman who had no apparent disabilities.

This thread is supposed to evoke remarks about culcha, but you can hear the same complaints from natives in rural areas when city folk move there and try to change things.
