If someone is waving something around in the street, and I have enough reason to believe it could be a gun, I’m doing SOMETHING about it.... more than likely I’d call the cops and if the rest of my family was home, I’d arm myself and prepare for the worst. So let me get this straight, calling the police for people acting like a dumb azz or being obnoxious or loud, is basically racist.

He wasn't "waving it around".
He was holding it with a shooter's grip and pointing it at people's heads such that only the pipe end was visible extending from his hand.

Second, I lived in a predominantly black apartment complex and the noise problem is fricking ridiculous, as is the leaving trash everywhere on a regular basis problem. Knocking on your neighbor's door isn't going to do shite when they are blasting subwoofers at full volume everyday or shouting as they navigate the complex. They clearly give no fricks about other people's consideration. Also, here's a fricking thought, be respectful of people around you and eliminate your behaviors that piss off other people.
Call it what you will but I intend to never live in a predominantly black area again. It's an utterly miserable experience.

According to the New York Times, he was born in Jamaica (go figure) and came to the United States when he was 6, had worked as a welder (he was holding a part of a welding torch not a shower head) and he had a 15-year-old son.
