The problem is that everything is geared towards women these days. The manufactures are making everything look all rounded and gay to appease the women.

Yep, just look at the Range Rover.

And people thought letting women vote would be a good idea. Now you see the end result.

Also around the early early 2000s laws were introduced to make all cars have rollover protection. To do this manufacturers enlarged and rounded the A pillars of all cares and trucks. Now I can hardly see around bends

Just bought my wife one. Certainly nothing spectacular but I couldn’t pass up the price for a brand new vehicle.
I refuse to spend 30 thousand plus dollars on a vehicle

Eta I know I’ll eventually have to but I’m holding out as long as I can

Yes, even the early-mid 2000s ones still looked like SUVs.

Very few SUV looking vehicle remaining. I actually think a boxy SUV would sell well, too bad Jeep won't bring back an updated Commander

I forgot how much the Pathfinder used to look like a Rodeo.

It was the same car. As was the Honda Passport.

ETA: I was mistaken. They do look alike, but the Pathfinder was its own thing. The other two were both made by Isuzu, though.

I Don't think I would venture off and look for any paths in that thing other than a highway.

4 Runners were & are so close to a Pathfinder (as to format) and so much better that I don't even consider the Nissan.

I've had a few Pathfinders over the past decade as rentals (in the US and in the third world) and they are now merely re-sculpted minivans.

One could make a point that the country has been going to hell ever since advertising agencies realized the purchasing power of women.

Yes - but every manufacturer ruined their SUV lineup. They are all just mini vans minus the sliding door.

Most did, yes. But not all.

Everything is going the way of the crossover. It would have been nice if Nissan created a new entry for the market and kept updating the pathfinder as an SUV. Sort of like the Highlander and 4Runner.

I had a 2008 Pathfinder that turned out to be one of the biggest POS I have ever owned. I got rid of it with 62,000 miles before the transmission died. It's a shame because it was a sharp looking SUV.
