I agree with this 100%. I just fail to see why you can't see the same thing with the Canada hire, the Joseph hire, and the Troy loss. The Moo loss was bad, but that was an SEC team that played their best game I've ever seen them play with probably Mullen's finest coaching performance of his career. His game plan was as close go flawless as one can get.

I have zero problem admitting when I'm wrong. I do it on here all the time. No one is right all of the time.

I admit that it was time for a coaching change, though not in favor of Orgeron.

If Miles's career consisted of the last 3 years or so before he was canned, then no one here would be giving him any credit. But he accomplished a lot. The last few years of his career doesn't erase that.

Sugar Ray Robinson lost 19 times and had 6 draws. If someone only watched the last 3 years of his career they'd had thought he was just another fighter. Does it not matter than he won 127 of his first 130 fights?

A person's entire career matters, not just cherry picked parts that help you prove whatever point you're trying to assert. When Orgeron accomplishes something substantive, not the lame accolades that you ascribe to him, he will get his credit, but not a moment sooner.

For future reference, a fake accolade is touting that Orgeron beat the team that beat the national champions. That doesn't mean anything. Beating the national champions means something.

Haven't knocked them. I'm just saying they haven't proven a damn thing yet. Therefore I only have their past results to go on, which for Orgeron isn't pretty for the most part.

Why can’t you people just let Tiger Ree-Tard threads die?

Because they’re fun. He’s a great troll. Very measured and thoughtful. Seems to be a smart guy, although I obviously hate the viewpoint that he pushes.

Probably because they have an opinion and want to express it. If everyone was brain-dead like you the thread would be much longer already.

You hate the fact that LSU is working to improve the offense? Good for you !!! Hopefully the team will suck and you can be happy.

This may be one of the most ridiculous things you've ever posted. This is an extreme even for you, my friend.

who are the idiots downvoting this?

They're happy we passed the 50 ... halfway through the 4th freaking quarter?!?!

That offensive performance was a complete disgrace and was the worst performance (on the biggest stage) I've ever witnessed.

Only the Miles' apologists could love it.

I think I just answered my own question.

People questioning the hires after the hires last year is reasonable. No one "hates" that LSU is trying to improve.

No one is "hoping the team will suck".

You like going to the extremes with everything. With some of the stuff you've posted about Miles, it'd be like me saying "Oh, I guess that you hate that he won a championship" or some nonsense like that.

I get that you're tired of people hating on Orgeron and I agree that a LOT of people take it too far, but everything doesn't have to be one extreme or the other.

Yeah, you'll be here damn near every day bragging about all the fantastic winning moves o has made during the off season. Then when the season starts, and we lose a game, you'll disappear for a week or two just like you did last year. Then show back up after a win running your mouth and then you'll disappear again after a loss. Just like last year.

And if or when things don't go as planned for o, you'll post a bunch of horseshite about how it's not o's fault that Ensminger was promoted to OC or how other coaches didn't carry their weight. Or something similar to this, so you and Space Clownboy and all the other o supporters can do whatever you can to keep o's hands clean. We don't want o to be responsible for anything negative that happens, right?

And when o is finally run off, you'll disappear into the dead of night. Posting occasionally like you did before he was ever hired.

if he was such a great coach he wouldnt have been a position coach his entire career.

It's precisely that simple...

When Pete Carrol took over USC back in 2000 he retained Orgeron as his d-line coach. Orgeron's coaching career benefited from being a part of Carrol's NC program, not the other way around.

Ole Miss hired Orgeron as HC in 2004 which was a "high risk" hire. They made the hired based more off of USC's national championship success under Pete Carrol rather than O's own merit. The next 3 years at Ole Miss with Orgeron making all of the decisions as head coach were a complete utter disaster.

USC didn't remove the interim tag on Orgeron's 2nd stint there in 2013 to make him permanent head coach because he already proved that he WAS NOT a great or even good head coach at Ole Miss.

Over the last year at LSU he has reaffirmed that he is not a good head coach and the posters who continue trying to turn a mule into a fricking race horse (Ree) just need to stop.

I had logged off but logged back in just to give your post an up-vote.

Well done and you're absolutely correct about posters that are trying to "turn a mule into a fricking race horse" needing to stop.

I was a big fan of Miles while he was at LSU and defended him quite a bit. But I don't ever remember being as blind and hard headed as posters like Ree, Space Clownboy LSUMIKE and a few others have been about o.

And if I ever was, I apologize to all the posters on the rant.
