We aren’t going to be great in football hate to admit it.

Lowest I've ever been since I started following.

Please don't downvote me, I'm already sad enough about it. It's not my fault.

Probably a 4

Now, college football 9 out of 10

Alleva and Orgeron are sinking the football program and my enthusiasm

10. Always excited but that has nothing to do with how we'll do.

I haven’t been this low since 93-94, and I challenge anyone to give a time in the last 25 years when there was as little hope as there is now.

We are in a period where the biggest supporters of the current head coach are literally advocating for why an 8-4 record next year would be a huge accomplishment.

Sure, in the last couple of years under the previous coach you could almost assume the Alabama game as a L, even though the games were almost always very competitive.

But we are in a situation now where not only is a loss to Alabama a given, we’re also supposed to simply dismiss UGA and Auburn as certain losses as well, not to mention an overhyped Miami team.

It’s just such a shame how low we have fallen in such a short amount of time.

3. It hasn’t been fun in years. I get a little wood in august but after watching letdown performances in Sept. I tend to move on to something else.

After the last few years of hearing Les lie through every off season and after hearing O already saying some of the same things he said last off season, I'm going in with no expectations so that I can't be disappointed. My level is a 1 for excitement, but always a 10 for interest.

Excited? ... Excited? ...
We've got O at the helm and Alleva is still here and you're talking about excitement?

Still excitement there. But got dammit it's time for the administration to show us something or grow some balls, open up the checkbook and hire a proven winner. Just like many things in life, football is about perception. Orgeron is perceived as a loser bc he has been a monumental loser in the past. Don't think he can shake it. Saban on other hand isnt the best coach out there but his perception has become a reality which has caused the top flight recruits to swarm and major excitement about the program. We must have something meaningful to play for at the end of the season or O needs to go.

Excited? A 10, without hesitation. But for me "excitement" isn't tied to "expectations". That's a different question altogether, and has no effect on how much I am looking forward to the season.
