Is this 2006 all over again? Britney Spears and Kevin Federline are back sharing headlines, this time over child support. According to TMZ, Federline, 39, claims to be in a financial bind.
On Friday, Federline reportedly called Spears’s father, Jamie, about increasing his child support payments because the $20,000 a month he receives isn’t enough. Federline says he can’t adequately care for the two sons he shares with Spears — Preston, 12, and Jayden, 11 — at her level. The report comes months after he called co-parenting with Spears “easy.”

It is absurd and scummy but if their family laws are anything like Louisiana's he will receive a bump up.
LA makes the best attempt to provide household financial equity so the kids aren't subjected to massive changes in lifestyle each time they switch from mom's to dad's house.

If he can't "adequately support" two kids part time with $240k/year then he is spending that money on things other than those two kids (like himself and his other kids). Spears probably already pays for most of the kids' large expenses anyway.
Sure $240k/year is a fairly small percentage for child support when you make $34 million but he is clearly asking for her to support him and his other children if he needs more than $20k/month.

20k a month is ridiculously low in this case according to the law

Why is that a requirement? If mom lives in a mansion does she have to pay for dad to live in a mansion too? With that much money those kids aren't hurting for anything.
