This person is off her rocker, or maybe his rocker - an article like this makes me think the author may be a trans-gender progressive. What kind of pussy-hat wearing snowflake doesn't understand that Trump was placed in power by God himself, through the very media He - and he - created? And now this cuck is going to say Christians should ignore the graciousness of Trump and the truth of the fair and balanced media?

quote:

If your Christian faith never collides violently the with agenda of your party, either you've found a party other than the two major players in the US today, or you're deceiving yourself about what the whole Jesus calls us to.

quote:

the hateful, divisive rhetoric and name calling reveal more than a difference of political opinion in us. It reveals a failure to understand how God sees others, and their worth to him.

This seems like a pretty accurate statement to be honest

Blah, blah, blah. Jesus wants you to vote for the baby killing atheist sodomites. Or at least not vote against them.

I’d be interested in how the #MSM would cover Jesus overturning the moneychanger tables, or how he spoke to the Pharisees.

If God didn't place Trump in charge, then who did? Satan? I say no, it was God and God alone. Give God His deserved glory!!

Christianity should always be at odds with the world.

The Founder of the religion said so.

The Social God and the Relational Self: A Trinitarian Theology of the Imago Dei 1st Edition
by Stanley Grenz (Author)

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

quote:

Grenz develops a communal understanding of the imago dei in the face of the demise of the centered self. He delineates the biblical/theological foundation for a new social conception of the divine image and reformulates an understanding of the self in a postmodern context, a context characterized by the loss of the self coupled with the quest for relationality in community.

The Gospel is not about conforming one's faith as a Christian into the world.

Most likely the headlines would be some thing like, 'The Heretic is openly blaspheming the Jewish leaders.'

'Terrorist destroys businesses at the Temple'

Seems to me, he more so just suggested being apart from it than necessarily being "at odds" with the political world.

I think the gist of the article is that the word of God should guide your actions more than defending a particular political party, candidate or movement. I think that is biblically sound advice.
