The usual DC wags are out this morning screaming about how Mueller is doing a great job and should be allowed to finish his job.

As someone who didn't vote for Trump and still isn't completely on board, Trump doesn't want this to end.
The longer this goes, the more it shows it was the Dems who did all of this.

I torn on this. He may be strategizing that if he presents all the evidence that this is a BS/biased investigation, built upon fake evidence, and fires Mueller, then the wailing and gnashing of teeth by the crazy libs (and some GOPe wimps) would impact the November elections in a good way. It would be a big gamble but might pay off bigly.

Why fire him when you know he doesn’t have shite. If he has nothing, let him & the Dems continue to look like idiots. Unless there’s fear that they’ll conjure up something. But it seems if they were capable of that, they’d have done it by now.

Firing him might actually be a smart thing. If he does, it more than likely ends up being challenged in court. It might be worth the risk to get this charade into the hands of the judiciary and out of the hands of bureaucrats and political hacks.

Firing him is not the politically saavy move. Trump has been ingratiating himself with various Swamp Dwellers (Bolton, etc) recently - that is saavy. If he can get a second Special Counsel going to investigate the DOJ it's checkmate. You'd have a tit-for-tat in the news cycle and, just like with the dueling HIC memos, a tie is a win for Trump.

Trump should come out and say that it’s a total waste of taxpayers money. He needs to share with the public how much this is costing us . He needs to get democrats to come out and publicly and say they want to waste our taxpayers money on this . Then when Midterms come along republicans can use this to get votes . Or atleast open a special council on Hillary .

I believe that between Meuller and his willing accomplice, Rod Rosenstein, they are of like mind that DJT can be forced to fire Meuller, who has no prayer of proving Russian collusion, and would like to be fired. The problem is that he'd better have someone who the Senate would approve, or else the job will go to whoever is below Rosenstein. This is 3D chess going on now, between the President and the Deep state. Without the Senate fully behind him, DJT will have a hard time appointing a favorable AG.

I thought from reading the Q thread that Mueller and Trump are actually working together to take down the clintons and their cabal. Oh well.
