What are your reasons for believing climate change is "a hoax"

What is the conspiracy that I'm missing?
ETA - And I hope all of you realize that if you take this stance you are in fact subscribing to a conspiracy theory.

The earth's climate has been "changing" for 4.5 billions years. This is a fact. The conspiracy is that the liberals think that by taxing and redistributing my wealth, they can change this.

If you do not believe in the basis for a theory it has to be conspiracy?

1. I don’t know if climate change/global warming or whatever they’re calling it this week is real or not and frankly don’t care. What I do care about is why the only solution is taxes. Don’t tell me the world is ending and in the next breath try to take my money. The validity of your science becomes irrelevant when you do that.
2. The scientists have been wrong since the late 60’s/early 70’s on the issue of climate change. First it was going to be an ice age and then Florida was going to be under water by 2010 and bla bla bla. I have little doubt that in 20 years we’ll be looking at what the scientists are saying right now and wonder how they got it so wrong.

While this is a fact, it is an irrelevant fact that does not disprove climate change.

The science really doesn't care what liberals or conservatives want to do about the matter

Not necessarily
But the idea that climate change is a hoax is in fact a conspiracy

I have always wondered why water vapor is not a major concern - it it far more prevalent than CO2 and is orders of magnitude more of a greenhouse gas.
Plus I think that the CO2 is a result of warming rather than a cause. I have not seen that disproved.
Not a conspiracy theory - except that there is an agenda by progs to 'do something' about everything they can dream up - and what they want to 'do' is rarely associated with the issue they are demonstrating angst about.
i.e. - gun control
immigration
taxes
'choice'
education
etc.
If a DEMOCRAT is pushing for something, the odds are 99-1 that the 'something' is secondary to their prime agenda = getting unopposed political power.
I will even submit that they do not give one shite about the 'issue' they are pushing 'do something about this' for. All they are ever doing is exacerbating some temporary emotional tug in order to stampede the uninitiated to vote for them in the next election.

Is it?
MPG requirements for auto manufacturers have changed. So that's a solution that isn't taxes.
Other forms of innovation are also solutions.
That was pretty easy to shoot down.

Most people don't question that climate is changing. They question the amount that is man-made, the "sky is falling" consequences of the change, the tax everything and we can "fix it" approach, and whether or not a 2" sea level rise over the next 100 years is worth sacrificing living in the most prosperous time in world history.
Posted on 3/7/18 at 6:46 am to Powerman
I don’t think many people deny that climate is changing. The issue is the man made part. The left has fearmongling projections for the last 20 years that have not come true. The percentage of rise contributed to man compared to natural rise is also a huge question.

The hoax is the belief and proposition that we can “fix” it. The reason for this is to make money off of it. Be that by studying it or thru increased taxes or regulations.

Because our earth axis is 21 degrees.
We spin and rotate around the sun.
Essentially we float in the universe traveling thousands of miles per hour.
There is no way to calculate climate change sorry just don't believe it. Or to prove man is impacting these changes.
Probably the number one fact I don't believe in man made change is because scientist have changed the term from global warming to climate change...

Well when all of the libruls and establishment repugs want it, along with all the cucked countries around the world that want the financial benefits it will give them, I can't help but think it's all a bunch of bullshite.
Oh and you and your ilk believe that boys can be girls and girls can be goats and gender is like a rainbow. That's worse than any conspiracy theory.

It's not because they don't think the earth is warming
It's because they're identifying other issues that may be problematic.

Nobody thinks climate change is a hoax. They question the motives of the people pushing it. It's a huge money and power grab and people are rightly going to reject it.

Climate change is shitty science masquerading as fact.
- no experiments where success or failure is determined before experiment conducted. Without this, how can the scientific method be applied?
- "sea levels are rising!" Claims continually pick 1-3 sites and ignore data which contradicts the claim. This is not science.
- the heart of climate alarmism: feeding data into a computer model and declaring it unquestionable, adjusting model to account for inaccurate prediction the previous year, declare new model unquestionable, adjust model to account for inaccurate prediction, declare model unquestionable....
If the computer models, which are what the AGW climate philosophy (not theory) is based off, are valid, show me a model from 10 or 20 years ago where the model accurately predicted the last 3 years.
There are none. But to question them is to be anti science.
Science is questioning things.
