Absolutely. Saban lost to UAB in his first year, O lost to Troy. The similarities go on and on.

This will not end well. O or this thread.

Saban is the best coach in this era. He had not peaked until he came back to college at Alabama. He's better now than when he was at LSU imo

Dude...Don’t smoke crack.
Are you really of the opinion that Saban would not have outperformed what Miles did? Really?
Certainly Saban learned from his NFL experience and has applied that failure at Alabama, but are you really telling me that Saban, despite not finishing worse than third in the conference in five years, including his first season, would have ever been seventh?
Miles was fourth, fifth, and sixth in three of his last four seasons.

Title is misleading.
"bullshite about O at LSU", perhaps?

I regret that I only have one down vote to give.

You could argue 2001 was Saban's best coaching job.
10-3, SEC Championship, Sugar Bowl win.
LSU started 4-3, then rattled off six wins in a row, which included a 35-21 win over Bama, a win over Arkansas, a team vying for the west crown, a defacto SEC West Championship Game against Auburn, winning the SEC Championship and stealing a national championship appearance for then #2 Tennessee, and a 47-34 Sugar Bowl win over Illinois.

Oh yeah.
Les Miles was the best football coach that LSU ever had, ever. And, Ed Orgeron could be even better.
Yep.

do think O can too time will tell but shofar so good.
We have had the worst recruiting class in 15 years under O. We had our first loss to a Sun belt team. We lost to Miss State 33-9. Curly did better against MSU.
You must be out of your mind to think Saban and O are coaches in the same level.

Miles did just as good as Saban and do think O can too time will tell but shofar so good.
Miles had a better winning record than Saban, but you have to consider the fact that Saban was handed a much weaker program, coming of 2 consecutive and 7/10 losing seasons. Miles was handed a program 1 year removed from a National Championship.

I hope you are not a LSU graduate. Please tell me you are just a fan of the program and not a alumni of LSU

Lol O boys are batshit insane. Good thing he’ll only be the coach for 9 more months.
Posted on 3/3/18 at 9:01 pm to LSUMIKEV
If O wasn’t from the bayous of LA he would never be hired as a head coach anywhere. It’s really a joke.

Say what you want but O can accomplish more than Saban at LSU. Miles did just as good as Saban and do think O can too time will tell but shofar so good.
Maybe he/she would do a 2 for 1 Rant Special.
You're making a fool of yourself, (As do many on here) but I'm sure you could care less and just want the attention.
