In all likelihood, he would state that Crooked Hillary did it in collaboration with the national media and of course the FBI and CIA.

Then he would fire someone he does not like, just to ensure that the do not get their pension.

I watched a 60 minute piece this Sunday on German prisons. Apparently, American's involved in running our prison systems are studying Germany's to see why they have a lower recidivism rate, less prison violence and better overall prisoner satisfaction. One of the things that German prisons have are, weekend leaves, even for murderers. They are allowed to go home for the weekends, without supervision or surveillance and then return after their visits. Prisoners are also allowed to wear casual street clothes and come and go out of their units at will. Gourmet type meals are provided to them. Prisoners have comfortable apartment type cells and even have video game systems and tv's in their units. Those especially serious prisoners who have life sentences are given their own fully furnished private apartments where they have their own key. They too can come and go at will. I found it to be interesting

Wonder if they had the same facilities in the concentration camps they ran in the 1930s and 1940s
I mean he was an assistant under Miles here in 2015-2016. He left to become OC under Mike Gundy at Oklahoma State and then he was a successful HC at Southern Miss. He is now having fair bit of success as a NFL OC with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Oklahoma State (2002–2004) Passing game coordinator & wide receivers coach

Louisiana State (2005–2006) Passing game coordinator & wide receivers coach

Jacksonville Jaguars (2007–2010) Wide receivers coach

Oklahoma State (2011–2012) Offensive coordinator & quarterbacks coach

Southern Miss (2013–2015) Head coach

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2016–2017) Offensive coordinator/Wide receivers coach

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2018–present) Offensive coordinator

.

Tampa Bay Offense in 2017:
272 passing yards of offense (4th in NFL)
90 running yards of offense (27th in the NFL)
20.9 points per game (18th in the NFL).

He has worked for Dirk Koetter and Mike Gundy and OC/PGC. Must know his passing game. He could have fixed our passing game in a hurry.

do think O can too time will tell but shofar so good.

We have had the worst recruiting class in 15 years under O. We had our first loss to a Sun belt team. We lost to Miss State 33-9. Curly did better against MSU.

You must be out of your mind to think Saban and O are coaches in the same level.

Miles did just as good as Saban and do think O can too time will tell but shofar so good.

Miles had a better winning record than Saban, but you have to consider the fact that Saban was handed a much weaker program, coming of 2 consecutive and 7/10 losing seasons. Miles was handed a program 1 year removed from a National Championship.

I hope you are not a LSU graduate. Please tell me you are just a fan of the program and not a alumni of LSU

It will be a beat down, that will hopefully, be the end of the beginning for Jeaux and Oeaux.
I know there are few fans who do, the delusional ones. Just think, would you like Joe "I am the search" Alleva be the one to pick the next baseball coach at LSU.

5 of those 6 SEC wins last FB season

Posted by HarveyMike on 2/8/18 at 10:15 am
5 of those 6 SEC wins last season was against teams who had/was about to fire their coach.

Auburn: Quality win
Florida: Coach fired soon after the game
Tennessee: Coach was fired before the game
Ole Miss: Coach had been fired before the season
Arkansas: Coach was fired soon after the game
Texas A&M: Coach was fired soon after the game

The other 3 wins was against the worst BYU team in school history, Chattanooga(FCS) and against Syracuse (even though they beat Clemson) that finished dead last in its division.

The losses were to 'quality teams' Miss. State, 10-win Troy and a ranked Notre Dame team.

Apart from Auburn we did not win against a team of some standing.

[I of course did not mention the other team that we lost to but that one is given].

King Alexander may step down in June

He will not find another job, so why will he resign voluntarily.

Besides, the BoS would hire another jackass.

For those who want O gone....

Would you rather have Joe Alleva have another run at hiring a head coach?

Trent Johnson (Brady was fired before Alleva came in but Alleva hired Trent)
Johnny Jones
Ed Orgeron
Nikki Fargas ( Is she comparable to Pokey {coaching only}/ Sue Gunter? )
Beth Torina ( after the Alabama coach was introduced as the head coach and then he left the next day)

Please note: Alleva is not going anywhere. Neither is F King Alexander.

As a bankrupt University, we can not afford to buy out F King's contract and so long as F King stays, Alleva stays.

So if you want O gone, Alleva will find another O to replace him and will give him a $75 million / 10 year guaranteed money contract to ensure, his new boy goes nowhere.

I rather keep O so long as he can finish 8-5, 7-6 and haul in a recruiting class in the late teens, that let Alleva take another shot at this.

Would you be happy with our AD if...

We have a very tough schedule next year. We have to play Alabama, @Auburn (where we have seldom won), @Florida ( if Dan Mullen can beat us with MSU talent he can beat us with Florida talent as well), Georgia (fresh from a SEC championship and a national runner up) and Miami ( in the season opener).

We will also be starting a inexperienced QB, a depleted stable of running backs, a inexperienced WR core, a new O-line coach, a new wide receiver coach as well as a new OC with a very different system.

I say the five losses are almost given ( we will in all likely not be favored in 4-5 of those games), but let us say we lose 1/2 more to say a @Texas A&M, @Arkansas, @MSU (they will be good team).

So we go 6-6 or a 5-7 (God forbid) and Joe Alleva decides to make a change (I am not saying he should, based on one season or he will reverse his decision 2 years ago).

Let us say Aranda's buyout of 7.5 mill (he will have three year's remaining on his contract) plus O's of 5 mill odd, becomes too much for LSU to pay. Alleva and Chancellor F King Alexander decides to install Aranda as HC. Would you be happy with this move?

Because I think this is their play. Otherwise guaranteeing 10 mil over 4 years to a DC, is a bit worrisome. What if the head coach gets fired, you will either be on the hook not only for a large buyout with the HC but also the DC. Which makes the buyout close to 10 mill again.

Also I do not think considering the Chancellor's previous statements, he is in favor of giving a Saban or Jimbo type contract to a head coach. Here is Chancellor Alexander's statements.

quote:

I can’t say that. I’d like to put a cap on all of them, before we’re paying a million a year to a punting coach.

I think this statement is a little more telling

quote:

The board did ask me when I got here, ‘How long would you stay here?’ I said, ‘As long as it takes, to become an assistant football coach.’

In any case even if O goes 5-7 I think we should retain him because
[1] He loves LSU
[2] He talks, walks and thinks like us.

We should not bring in a some coach from the north, pay him 10 mill a year when he does not understand us southerners.
