OT Docs: Can you get pink eye from someone else farting on your pillow?

Google says no but I have my doubts. What’s the best remedy to treat it? Asking for my kid.

Go to a doctor and get prescribed drops. Unless something has changed in the last 25 years I remember them hurting like a motherfricker. Don't know why the OT needs to tell you this.

Pink eye is extremely contagious. It's passed from one person to another by making eye-to-eye contact.

Most cases are viral. If that's the case it will resolve without treatment. You can buy drops OTC that will help to relieve symptoms.

No, you don’t get it from farts.

A big cause of pinkeye that people don't consider is marijuana abuse. The Mexicans poo in the fields while they grow it and when you smoke you aerosolize the germs
