I think everyone should read Animal Farm, but should be aware what it is really about before reading it.

There are two other books I have read that made changed my how I view certain things. One is a marketing book and the other is an autobiography by a woman who lived in communist China. Her and her husband had well paying jobs in Taiwan, her husband died, she moved to China (from the island) and she had to pretty much live poor to hide her wealth then ends up going to jail for it, etc.. I have to go look for it and find the title for that as well.

Irreverent and hilarious. I laughed out loud while reading it. The only other book I did that (and still do just thinking about it) is A Confederacy of Dunces.

I've nailed the "slow" part. Still working on the "fast" part.
