100% true.

And, if you took a poll of republicans that believe in the importance of the nuclear family as compared to a poll of democrats who believe in the importance of the nuclear family it would be night and day.

Fact.

Poverty leads to violence and discourse.

Education is the only way out of poverty.

Who teaches young children about school and getting good grades?

I don't disagree with this, but I wonder if some of the problem stems from post-recession kids not working part-time jobs in high school to earn money and develope a work ethic like we used to.

When the economy tanked adults and seniors filled the McDonald's kind of jobs that would have gone to kids, so a huge chunk of that generation never worked a day in their life and had it handed to them.

By the way, I said that because it is what some liberals say.

Some of it may be true, but the breakdown of the nuclear American family is one of the core reasons of it.

The breakdown of the nuclear family is directly due to the decline in Christianity in the US, urged by Hollywood and enforced by progressives democrat judges who took Christ out of school and public life.
The breakdown of the nuclear family, all the violence and trouble in America is a result of this. Removing religion from America is a primary goal of communist.
Thus
The root cause of all problems in America is progressives communist sympathizers

If Christianity can't compete with the movies and some judges, then it must not be selling a very good product. Don't blame Hollywood and the govt. for the failures of Christianity in America led by tax exempt institutions of deceit and snake oil salesmen. Schools are for learning. Churches are for selling their particular dogma.

Kids are too smart for all that Old Testament bullshite anyways. Its a poor way to promote what could be a wonderful philosophy. "And God rested on the 7th day..." God needs rest? WTF? He's God. God doesn't get tired does he? Ridiculous.

I agree with this wholeheartedly. While I dont consider myself to be a conservative. This is one of the things that keep me from being a Dem, it seems like no wants to even acknowledge this fact.

Literally, ALL of it. From what passes for "news", to garbage tv programming, ads, Hweird, you-name-it. Shows like King of *Queens & Roy Ramano where males were being emasculated, made into submissive dummies afraid of their wives who wore the pants in the families... wasn't even "equal" at that point, all downhill from there.

Guns don’t have to be used to act as a deterrent
For those of us that understand right from wrong this is not needed. There is however a very small percentage of the population that will always need a larger presence to keep them in check. With the proliferation of concealed weapons carry permits, a lot of bad people might think twice before trying to do harm

You're assuming they want to take care of their families, or marry their baby mommas. Many don't.

For a country of our wealth we perform very poorly in vast regions of the country in education and opportunity. Long term if we can solve these issues (easier said than done) we can improve the country as a whole and solidify our future status internationally.
We need to invest large amounts of money into education with an emphasis on math and science. Give avenues for those with the highest aptitude to be promoted while finding ways for those of lesser aptitude to contribute to society with real skills.

Reform plus investment. We dont give up on military tech investment because of failed projects. We need to look at the systems that work (ours look nothing like theirs) and reform our approach. Affluent areas of the country with large tax bases have excellent public schools. Look at northern virginia. Extremely diverse (in case one of the regular idiots want to make one of their regular comments) with a huge local tax base and a dedication to the public school system. Even well off people send their kids to the local public schools and their results are far better than most private schools in LA.
Many local systems are completely underfunded.

Where in the verse does it say he NEEDED rest? You don't like to kick back and admire your work while sipping a cold beverage? You atheists can't see the forest sometimes. Ridiculous.
