What I don't get about Hackney is his accent
He is from Ascension Parish but sounds more like he is from rural Alabama
For that reason, I chose to cheer against him

Originally from Arkansas. I was his marshal for day 1 of the 2011 Classic at Segnette. Had some down time due to fog delay on that morning. Sat around and chatted, turns out we have mutual friends, but we have not talked since the Classic.
Not sure why he some think he's a douche, he's cool as hell and is as much of a sportsman as any you'll meet. Addicted to deer and duck hunting.

Switch to DirecTV. Although it took them long enough to get it in HD.

Hackney is originally from Star City I think. Don't know him personally but we have a couple of mutual friends. Supposedly a cool guy away from competition.
I typically dislike the whiners like Martens and Erhler.
Most folks don't but I'm a big Ike fan

Hackney is one of my favorites, he seems like a guy I would want to hang around and drink a beer with. James Watson and Gerald Swindle are fun to watch. I think Wheeler is a rising superstar in the fishing world, I wouldn't like to fish his style. It does work though.

You got dem cold worms ready for the a.m. ? Rain ain't coming in till about 1:00. I bring home a sack and it's on for the duration of the rainy afternoon. Guess I could skin em at my old man's house or the office come to think about it. I still got all my shite to do that anyway.
