We lost a series to Kansas the year after we won the CWS. We lost a series to Appalachain State in 2012. We lost 4 senior leaders in the lineup and our entire starting rotation. It happens. If people expected this team to be firing on all cylinders in February, then I'm sorry you set your expectations there. Mainieri said this team would have growing pains throughout the year. Maybe let the season or, hell, even a few weeks play out before yoy make an analysis on the capabailities of the baseball team.
