criminals, by definition, not care about laws. Why the left insists on ignoring this is beyond me.
How about we all agree to allow stop and frisk? This will get many more ILLEGAL guns off of the streets. And it will also slow the gun violence rate. Taking my guns will not change the gun violence rate on bit.

Let’s start with mandatory registration and insurance and restrictions on military hardware. Then we can require some other things too. That way when police find an unregistered gun they can seize it. Over time guns will be more in the hands of responsible owners, as they should be.

It is ILLEGAL guns that everyone wants to stop. While I cannot state a specific %, law abiding citizens and their registered or unregistered guns are a VERY low number of the total murders in this country.
