I totally agree about this. Social media doesn't help do anything but throw some more gas on the fire, and people are suckers for that, they're addicted to getting more and more information. Lots more news now isn't about reporting news but trying to outdo each other and make news. It's a real-life version of the Nightcrawler movie.

The Democrats didn't have "full control." In order to pass the Senate a bill requires 60 votes.
There were gun control bills introduced after Newtown and San Bernardino and they failed after the Senate failed to reach the 60 vote threshold.

Instead of calling people names, why don't you go see how many Democratic Senators there were at the time both of the bills I referenced were passed.

You're perfectly okay with kids dying in automotive accidents. If you weren't okay, you would call for a banning of all engines over 25hp in order to eliminate those 30k useless automobile deaths.
You're also perfectly okay with those children growing up without parents due to alcohol, which also kills more people than guns.
