The left is the problem with "common sense" gun laws

There is no compromising with the left. Yall don't know when to stop and just be content. There is this never ending struggle by leftist institutions to pull the country as far to the extreme left as it will possibly go, therefore the right must always resist everything.
Gay marriage was a battle cry for the left for years. When you finally won that issue, you didn't stop and say "hey weve taken care of 99.7% of the population, lets call it a day" You kept running with it and are now getting into really f'ed up territory with tranny rights. After that, there is no telling where you will go.
The point is, we cant give in an inch to you people. Id love to make it extremely hard to purchase an AR-15. I don't shoot them very often. I don't want to take away the enjoyment from sane people who want to have an AR-15 to shoot. I just want to make it incredibly hard for troubled people to purchase these weapons.
But IF we give in on that, youll move to handguns, shotguns, bolt action rifles, and on and on till you were fighting for "common sense" slingshot and bow and arrow control.
Maybe if the mainstream left shifted towards the center and left behind self serving morons like Justin "peoplekind" Trudeau, then we could actually come to some agreements.

As if there is any such thing as an assault rifle in the first place. But to your point that makes sense. People tend to notice when someone is packing an AR-15.

The problem with banning "assaults rifles" is the definition of assault rifles. What is it? Then the problem is what good will it do? Will it do anything to fix our problems? Want to stop "Crazy" people from getting guns? First you have to have parameters of what constitutes "crazy". Depression? Anxiety?

Looking back, do you think the Jews in Weimar Germany wish they had not registered their guns and ultimately had them confiscated by Hitler? Would they be OK with a few murders a year to have a chance against total liquidation?
