Maybe I’m in the minority with this opinion or I’m doing something wrong but who came up with this terrible invention. These are ok if filling up my mower and I can see how much gas I’m putting and when to stop but I can’t use this POS on anything else and not spill it/get it all over my hands. Someone using gasoline is old enough to be able to use a normal spout. It’s trying to solve an issue that never existed IMO. I have got to replace this nozzle. Has anyone felt the need to replace theirs? If so what did you use?

You are not alone.

I think the idea is keeping the vapors in the can when youre not using it. I make up for it by spilling half of the damn thing. Those metal cans with the funnel are expensive but much bette4

I bought an EZ-Pour Hi-Flo Replacement Spout. Tractor Supply has them locally or order online.

first thing i do is break it off, pull the guts out, then shove a water hose in the tube and use zip ties to secure it.

i just try to keep that in mind when i but a can so the design is easy to stick a hose on

what infuriates me is the cans dont all use a standard sized cap. often i can even reuse an old one i had already rigged because its a mm too big or small to fit the threads on the can

Yep, never spilled so much gas and gotten so much on me in my life as with these "safer" cans. Replaced nozzles with the kind from the hardware store on most of my cans.

Yep, get the metal cans and be done with it.

The part I hate most is the vacuum it creates. They put the vent on the end of the nozzle so you have to play the "find the perfect angle to vent the mf'er" game.

Personally I hate the damned things too. I'm sure they came as a result of the lawsuits that killed the blitz gas can company tho.

They are fricking awful. I spilled a bunch today, once again. I need to pick up a couple of the race ones.

The old school Chilton gas can was the goat of em all. I have a few and keep a close eye on them. My Blitz cans ain’t going anywhere either.

Just ordered one of these. If it doesn’t work I’ll get one of those racing cans. Thanks guys. Glad I’m not alone.

This is the BEST can out there. Even with a the hose on there if you put that cap on it and drop it out of second floor window on its side it will not spill a drop. Best part is you can empty 5 gallons in about 40 seconds through that hose.

Have 6 of these for my hunting truck. Those that have never used this have no idea.
