re: Lowell Narcisse down in Florida...

I don't think there are too many questions regarding Narcisse's physical tools, but it's his health. He's a big, mobile QB who has injured both knees, but LSU and Auburn both still offered him a scholarship. If he is healthy enough to develop his skills and learn the offense, he should be very good.
Of course, Brennan is very good, and after watching him throw in practice (videos posted here) and in the few games he's played, he looks like a very natural passer who's not afraid to let it go on time. I think the biggest questions on Brennan are his size and toughness to stand (or move effectively) in the pocket and NOT to force the ball if he's being pressured.
Competition if Narcisse is healthy should be a good thing for LSU.

Well.....we shall see. I believe whomever wins out the other will transfer. Really cant tell if you got a real qb until you see how he bounces back after, getting hit in the mouth a couple times. ..

Maybe we should throw the NFL ball

Yeah, that is total bullshite. You’re the type I’m speaking about, obvious Brennan backer, spreading false rumors trying to convince people that Narcisse is not accurate, with nothing to substantiate it. If his accuracy was as bad as you say, he wouldn’t have been ranked the #3 DT when he was a soph/junior. One of the main things they look at on the camp circuit is accuracy.

LOL enough people seen him to have him rated as the #3 DT QB in the country despite missing so many games so there's that.
What's so funny. I didn't say he sucked, I stated that when you play a handful of games over 2 years in high school, no one outside of that school gets to see you play. Is this difficult to understand for you?
No one is doubting he can move his arm forward and throw to recovers. Unfortunately, being a qb in a top 5 conference will demand more from him than that.
He missed a ton of game experience that other kids have had, and there's no way around that. Redshirting last year no doubt helped him gain more practice experience against great players.
If I woke up tomorrow and found out we had to play Bama or Georgia Saturday night, I would not feel good if he were named the starter of Brennan.
It's not a knock on the kid, I hope he's the best ever here and wins 22 heismans

Lowell is so fast he ran out of his shoes.

Good chance you know the guy I work with. He also has some affiliation with Ascension Catholic, though I’m not sure exactly what that is. Curious what you think of his assessment about any ptotential transfer.
One of the other guys I work with lives in Chackbay, he doesn’t know Narcisse but has seen him play multiple times and observed him after games and met him once or twice. He thinks the kid seems to be very high character, very down to earth and humble. And that guy is generally not high on people that same guy also said he was always clearly the best athlete on the field and that can sometimes make it a little difficult to truly gauge a dual threat QB, but he thinks he got it including passing if he gets just a little coaching.
I hope he stays at LSU and I hope whoever give the Tigers the best chance to win is the starter. If that’s Narcisse, I would not be surprised.

Did you go to any practices or games last year at all? There was plenty of film and evidence I saw with my own eyes that he couldn’t throw consistently. If he’s airmailing balls in warmups, what do you think he’s going to do in-game?

This thread is one of the sadder threads I've seen on my time on this site. Hasn't even been a snap taken in spring practice yet and people are firmly planted in camps.

Everyone has an opinion, very rarely have they even seen the player play, and if seeing the player play they dont know what he was coached to do at that time.
They may have had Narcisse working on something that makes him uncomfortable and less accurate...they may have done that knowing they have two years to sort it out.
The point is, we have no idea.
These off campus reports and camp reports are almost all complete fabrications as well.
Throwing to All Pro wideouts will make anyone look spectacular.

Look who is making the "best player" decision. See coaches freak up all the time with favoritism.

I've said on here several times that he looks just like BH in practice.
Big, strong, athletic, wheels........but can't consistently hit the broad side of a barn throwing the football.
Throw in the playbook, reading defenses, game management and quick information processing skills (In a high pressure SEC game) and you've got BH 2.0.
Gonna be a lot of disappointed "King Lowell" entourage fans after Spring practice when Brennan is light years ahead in running the Offense that O&E want to run. (Modified West Coast)
I think he will have some special "King" packages for goal line or if we're up comfortably and need to run some clock by mostly running the ball............
We all get it. You hate any & all black QBs. You've made this point very clear over the years with your posts.

Man I can't wait for the season to start. So much potential this year.
Great talent and competition at QB
Receiver depth and potential (Davis, Sullivan, Anderson, Dillon, Giles, Chase, Marshall... just to name a few)
Absolutely love CEH at RB and Carter is a wild man, just short on reliable depth here
Cregg could be the real deal as OL coach with young talent (really wish Clapp had stayed... after guice and key, that was the most impactful departure for us)
Unbelievable talent in the front 7, just need to find a pass rusher but there will be plenty to choose from
Cornerback may be lacking depth, but the top guys are as good as any in the nation (Williams, Vincent, Fulton, Paris)
Safety has tons of experience returning and an absurd amount of talent
This defense should be much more like our 2016 defense under Aranda. Can't freakin wait.
And we have a supposedly great kicker coming in! That should be refreshing.
The schedule gives me pause, but this is a team that if put together right, should absolutely compete for the West with Alabama being a home game. We know what we have with Aranda but Ensminger and (as usual) the QB position will be the x factors.

Can’t wait for Lowell to tear up the SEC.

I was lucky enough to attend a couple of practices this past season with one being their last in BR. I just want the best guy to start next year, no matter who that may be.
Lowell certainly looks the part in every way. I was excited to see him in action first hand. unfortunately, for the day I was there at least, he struggled greatly with his accuracy. He also seemed to struggle with getting the ball out on time. Of the 3 back ups his accuracy was the worst.
Hoping he can have it all come together and that we have a good competition that keeps pushing them all to grow and challenge for the starting job.

By “we” you mean the fans? Because the coaches already know.
