Agree with all this.
Lindsay Scott's fans did him a disservice in the end.
I hope Narcisse ends up being a star, but crowning him NFL ready or the like is a bit much, even in the off season.

I sure hope this is not one of those BH type of hype. Would love to see LN light it up. But, until I see it on SNL in Death Valley, I am withholding judgement. Same goes for MB.
From what I understand, it's really not a problem to have 2 stud QB's on the same team. I have seen that work for not only LSU in the past, but most recently in January.
I truly believe that both QB's bring something good & different to the field. Can only hope that with our new OC having been in a 2 QB system himself, he may get it right. That is if he can remember that far back.

All I can hope for is a fair competition. Orgeron seems intent on running a pro-style offense, and it'll be a shame if his own stubbornness to adapt leads to Narcisse transferring.

did you see the kid last season, asshat??

Yes, I did...you know why? He was the only one healthy enough to be on the active squad. That includes the start of spring and fall.

That's why I saw him, struggle or not....but let me guess, after playing less than half if his last 2 years of high school, LN was ready to go in those situations and be all SEC, right?

Get off your fricking knees in front of LN...yes, he's good at certain things, we know that because we saw some of it in HIGH SCHOOL.

Dude, shut your stupid arse up, go and bend over for Brennan because it's obvious you don't know shite about football. No ones on their knees for Narcisse, assclown, but I will speak my mind if I think the kid is being unfairly criticized. He's down in Fla training with NFL athletes, throwing passes to them and all, and because they give the kid compliments he unfairly criticized on here by so called LSU fans. That doesn't sit well with me, so if you don't like me speaking my mind go somewhere else. Both Brennan and Narcisse are quality QB's that come from playing two totally different styled offenses, and right now I don't think it's fair to put one over the other.

Same song and dance with people thinking someone is racist just because you state the facts about a player and he happens to be black. I don't give a shite what color he is, if he's bad, hes bad. Rohan, jamarcus, Herb and perilloux were good qb's. JJ, BH,AJ SUCKED. Maybe you're the one that's racist for assuming just because you say negative things about a player and he happens to be black your racist. Would you call a black person racist if he said something negative about a white person, just a question? As I've stated earlier on this thread, I don't care who the qb is, I just want LSU to be successful.

No, it's the same song and dance with you assclowns on here saying shite about an LSU player that you know nothing about. And when you take and compare that player to another black player just because you saw him throw some high passes in a practice last year. Then what in the hell would you call that?? People say shite in sly ways not trying to be obvious, but you can pretty much read in between the lines. Also, what "facts" are you talking about??

Obviously you do give a shite or you and whoever else wouldn't make such dumb comments. How in the hell would you know if Lowell Narcisse was bad or good?? You don't, you haven't seen him play for LSU yet, but it doesn't stop y'all from making dumb comments.

No, I'm not racist, but I know from posting on here a lot that they are some on here that are. And why would you say negative things about an LSU player, anyways?? Just more dumb shite out of your dumb mouth!

You sure don't sound like it. Lol But I'm done with this shite, I've stated my piece.

I love the offseason backup QB thread.

Copy and paste from every teams message board every year

Kid has grown- usually 1-2 inches
Kid has gained nothing but steel- 10-20lbs
Kid has added 10-15 yards to his deep throws

Never said one word about Lowell f#@$head. All my comments were about BH. Quit jumping to conclusions shite for braibs. My references were, I stated we heard this about BH and until Lowell does what they say he did in a game then I'll believe it. Truth is, it doesnt matter what you do in practice, 7 on 7 it's what you do in a game that matters.

No one is criticizing him! If someone saw him have a bad practice, then they have every fricking right to say hes inaccurate....the same way if you saw him shine in a game, then you can say hes great.

Deal with it. I have no clue on Brennan long term, but only a c omolete fricking moron would have LN penciled ahead of him right now...9n what grounds?

So an NFL-ready QB on our roster wasn't fit to start the bowl game a month ago....?

One last thing, answering your question of why would I say something negative about a player? If you always hear "you're great , you're awesome " and not told you played bad or you need to work on this because you're not that good at it, how in the hell will you ever get better? That's what's wrong with this world today, people think everything should be roses, that's not real life. Life's hard , it isn't always fair. Criticism helps us to grow and become a better person, athlete, husband, wife abd parent, etc. Just for the record, I haven't annointed Brennan the savior yet, he also, will have to prove to me he can go through progressions, read defenses, deliver the ball accurately and not in "damn practice", in the game. What I meant by i want LSU to be successful is, I want the best player and if that's Lowell or Myles, I'm totally fine with it. I just want the guy who helps us win, not lauded about in "practices" but translates their abilities to the field and games. And by the way, it wasn't dumb arse comments, it was the truth. Truth is sometimes hard to handle but it makes us stronger and better.

Dont compare him to JJ,

It's insane, nonetheless, all dual-threat QBs here on the Rant are automatically JJ or Brandon Harris, but mostly Brandon Harris. Like he is the quintessential model for dual-threat QBs in the world. When the truth is we never had a decent dual-threat QB that I can remember.

I've said on here several times that he looks just like BH in practice.

What you mean, he doesn't even look remotely like Brandon Harris. For one thing, he is a lot bigger and he is a lot more polished athlete.

Like I said, it's insane on the Rant. Far too many people compare every dual threat QB to Brandon Harris. It's amazing how myopic the Rant is.

He's a big, mobile QB who has injured both knees,

Knee surgeries have progressed dramatically over the years. Most, but not all people, end up with stronger knees after the surgery and rehabilitation than before the knee surgeries, but, again, not all people. Let’s hope Narcisse is one of those guys who ends up with the stronger knees post-operative surgery.

There are a ton of players who went on to have long and very prosperous careers in the NFL after undergoing knee surgeries in high school, college, or early on in their NFL careers.
