Black dude in Baton Rouge (who was found not guilty by insanity of a murder years before) shot at his family and the cops the other day. Taken into custody without a scratch.

Didn't Cruz give himself up (surrender) when cornered? I read he was apprehended "without incident", which leads me to believe he must have at least complied with law enforcement's orders to surrender. The police generally don't mess around with suspects that don't follow orders, especially violent offenders. So now we have major media folks that want the police to just kill the suspect no matter what?
