As I recall, Hatcher didn't play football as a junior because he thought he would stay in basketball. He got talked into playing as a senior and played LB and WR. I think he played as a sophomore, but I don't remember what position(s).

I believe he went to Grambling as a TE, wound up at DE, then grew into DT in the NFL.

It's sad when DBU is looking for bodies to play cornerback.

A track website had him running like 12.3 100m

would he be the 100m guy for Jena with a 12.3 time? I don't keep up with high school track that much but that seems slow.
He is supposed to be a very dangerous return man. That just doesn't seem to jive with a 12.3 100m time.

12.3 wins the girls 100m at a high school track meet
He's a low/mid 10s guy easily

It's not like Jena is an athletic powerhouse. Watch his highlights. Great agility and size, but doesn't really outrun top players.

O needs to beat bushes for a 1 year grad transfer at corner and RB

We have plenty of RBs. The problem is the top end talent isn’t special. That doesn’t get fixed with a transfer.

Wasn't Cory Webster a switch to corner from receiver while at LSU?

I want to say Travis Daniels was as well. And possibly Jack Hunt. I'd need someone to verify.

Jaray is close to 100 percent now. His was a clean break, which is what you want. He will be fine on e season starts. He is a legit 6'2" now . He is as good as an athlete as Cory Webster was. With the right coaching he could be a hell of a cb.

Obviously the coaches have mentioned it to him. My son talked to him today and he said he was cool with playing whatever position the coaches ask him.

It was against Winnfield in first game of season, we was up 26-0 in the first half and he more or less talked the coaches in putting him in on defense at corner. First play on defense is when it happened. Tibia, lower part of leg. Luckily it was a clean break. We had another kid , our center, broke both his tibia and his fibula against Peabody but his was not clean, lots of fragment and was broke higher. He is still limping and its been five months.

Frickin’ Surtain!!!! Hurts, man! Now we’re gonna have to figure out how to beat bama and their heisman Mongolian QB with a skeleton patchwork crew of people being converted from their natural positions!!! I HATE this!!!

Stay positive Tiger Fan! Front 7 next year is going to be NASTY. They are going to stuff the run and get after the qb's arse helping the secondary. DB's wont have to cover long before the ball will be coming out, and our athletes will make plays.

Daniels was always a DB, but not a CB solely until 03. I think he was actually still playing some safety early in 03.

Jack Hunt was a WR initially (but a fulltime DB by the time of the Bluegrass Miracle)
