No, there's Troop B in Kenner which has traditionally worked in NOLA and now there is Troop N which is based in the FQ.

This is a problem in Atlanta too but most of them are "teens." Most turn out to be stolen (shocking, I know).

These guys are on the interstate fairly frequently. At least a few times a month, I'd guess. I'm always amazed by the type of person with the "I'm going to ride a wheelie on an ATV at 60 mph with no helmet" mentality. Although I'm always hoping, I haven't seen one hit the deck yet.
I'm hard on NOPD because they seem to have more than their fair share of don't give a frick/it's not my problem cops. But in their defense, you can almost not blame them. Morale must be terrible. They deal with savages on a regular, of not daily, basis. I feel bad for the cops who are actually trying to do a good job. It's got to be like swimming against the tide.

NOPD essentially does nothing but take reports and block the streets so the coroner can haul off the shooting victims. LSP does the actual police work in NOLA. For them to have to not only handle the interstates but also the French Quarter is fricking ridiculous.
NOPD is a joke that honestly needs to be disbanded and reorganized.

Taser, maybe? Righthanded would typically have his service weapon holstered on his right side. Taser on the left would explain the reversed grip.
