The alternative is you are the Browns and on your 80th QB since 2000.

I’ll trust Shanahan over you. It was a close call though!

I can see this being a Matt Flynn/Brock Osweiler situation all over again.

Uh, Matt Flynn got a big contract for one game, and you're surprised by this?!

He completely changed San Fran in a matter of 5 games. In today's NFL, he is going to get paid for that.

The league just throws money at QBs that show even the slightest chance of being better than average. That's why Cousins is going to get paid a ridiculous amount, and if Foles were a FA, he would get paid an outrageous amount as well.

It's either that or be mired in mediocrity with QBs named Beathard, Osweiler, Stanton, or Kiser.

He was balling his last few game. He took the shite 49ers into Jax and beat them. The alternitave would be to save some cash on Keenum.... yeah no thanks.

Who cares, why do people who are supposedly pro capitalism get bent out of shape when players get paid?

The highest paid player in the NFL was worth just a 2nd round draft pick 3 months ago

people are scurrreeeed. Jimmy G is going to be fricking good, its absurdly easy to see. Trust me, I can't stand that he's a 49er but he is going to win at least 1 ring if the front office puts the right personnel around him at the right price.
