Seriously, why is weed still not legal on a federal level?

If all of these states can have it fully legal, every state should. It should be federally passed to be legal. I can’t smoke because I have to take hair follicles for my job, but I would much rather medicate my anxiety and back pain with some good medical weed, over these terrible pharmaceutical drugs. But I also would like to go into a weed shop that I know exactly what I am getting and know that it isn’t sprayed with something etc (having to deal with street dealers). It blows my mind that we are still where we are, knowing the hundreds of benefits of weed.

I think it should be a state decision and the federal government should stop constantly overstepping their power

Weed is no more dangerous than alcohol. It's stupid that it isn't legal everywhere. Sick of the Bible thumping, pew jumping conservatives that oppose it. Be a conservative weed smoker.

If drugs were suddenly made illegal, you know how many government jobs would not be needed as a result?

Do you check Halloween candy for needles too?

Hint hint.. This doesn't happen.

Other than that, legal or illegal, idgaf. My arse will be smoking weed. And when the time comes, you can roll me up and smoke me when I die.

Weed is one hundred percent a drug, as is alcohol.

I am 100 percent for the legalization, but it doesn't help that the legalize crowd has so many charlitians (not saying you) saying it's this wonder drug that fixes everything.

The problem is the face for legalization is some hippie that lives in a tiny house in Boulder.

If alcohol were illegal you wouldn't want Bubba from Bawcomville who smashes a case of Busch Light to be the face of legalization.

I'm very pro legalization but I also believe in federalism even though it gets constantly stepped on by the feds.

Those industries have the potential to invest and profit off of legalization. You know who doesn't? LEO unions.

Shouldn’t this be something that should be voted on federally?
