There is a whole conservative network of media you apparently do not know about.

If you did you would know this takes no digging.

Haiti is widely accepted as the worst country in the Western Hemisphere.

Trump’s description of Haiti is a lot more accurate than Conan’s description.

Everyone knows this.

Haiti really SHOULD be beautiful.
It was just over 200 years ago. Therefore it can be and should be.
Haiti is the one that fell through the cracks that I just couldn't understand. Their neighbors are fine.

AirBNB has been shite spamming my twitter feed with similar propaganda after the shithole stuff.

Posting pictures of "white washed" resort areas of these countries that are literally walled off and fortified from the outside culture. It's so disingenuous and it's the kind of so called appropriation that liberals so often bitch about.

Looks like Conan is about 200 yards off the coast. My guess is that's the closest he's going to come to actually visiting Haiti.

Liberals love to berate conservatives all day long, but they absolutely cannot stand it when people call them out on their own bull shite.

They think you should accept said bull shite, and when it is instead called out for the bull shite that it is, the stock reply is usually why are you looking for things to be upset by.

But we’re really not looking for bull shite. This is just what liberals do all day every day. Conan’s Haiti is awesome charade is just one part of the liberal bull shite that goes on every day.

Especially people who graduate from Harvard and write cartoons for a living. Yes, many are clueless of the real world.

But I think in this case, Conan knows better. He just has an agenda. Now a lot of people that are loving his Haiti is awesome bit, yes, I’m certain that many are clueless.

Seems like a questionable optic to me, but my only degrees came from schools in Louisiana.

He should go to Syria next. Find a small area that looks good, take a picture and imply that the picture was a representative of the whole country.

If Haiti is that great, why do they need to come to the US? And why do they need international aid?

People who graduate from Harvard are much more likely to be socially cloistered than most of us

It can be said that there are two kinds of knowledge: real world and academic.

I remember reading a very long piece on Conan after he was ousted from the Tonight Show by Leno. In it, a friend of both Conan and Leno with long history of working with both offered some insight. He said that to understand what happened you have to know the nature of each person. Conan made his bones by being funny in a very quiet room in New York City, making 5-7 writers laugh. Leno made his bones by being funny on the road, all over the country, every night in some of the shittiest clubs, making drunk assholes laugh.

When it came down to it, Conan was no match for Leno in terms of knowing what to do and how to get it done in terms of actually getting what you want. Behind the scenes, in the offices, in the trenches, with the power plays, Leno was a street fighter. And he came up and knifed Conan before Conan ever knew he was in real danger.

And I’m not saying that Leno is funnier than Conan. I actually like Conan more. But it’s just interesting to gain some insight into the nature of people.
