Got into LSU, Virginia Tech, Nebraska, Colorado and ended up going to Nicholls State.

UVA

Do you think your life would be different in a major way had you gone there?
Obviously. I met my wife at Bama.

SLU i guess? I was a pre TOPS grad and my parents told me they'd pay my tuition and books but not an apartment when they lived 12 miles from LSU's campus. LSU it is pops

Loyola New Orleans to play basketball
Yes, my life would be different, but I'm not sure by how much. I needed structure in that time of my life and playing a sport would have provided it.
Not sure if the end result would have been any different, but I'd have much better college grades. I may have gone to a better law school, but I was pretty sure I wanted to be a lawyer regardless.

MiamiU was my only other serious undergraduate choice

Duke. Half scholarship, but parents advised me to take full scholarship to LSU. Then they spent the money they saved for my college tuition on themselves.

Naval Academy. Was accepted. saw they had 6% female and went to da U instead.
Would of gone there but our Senator had already filled his seat for my year and asked me to go to NAPS for a year and then transition over. Likely would have done that had I not visited Charleston and seen all the COC girls!

Yale, Harvard, Brown, Vanderbilt, Stanford, Tulane. Instead went the OT route and went to River Parish Community College to become a plant operator

Ole Miss. I'm not very smart.

VMI. Had an opportunity to play football there and my father and grandfather (both army officers) were really trying to push me that way. In the end, as an 18 year old kid, the rigid structure didn’t appeal to me. I can’t complain about the way my life turned out, but sometimes I think about what couldn’ve have been different.

If by “almost attend” you mean that I was enrolled but rarely attended class, that was my one year in Starkville.
