USL- Had a 1.94 GPA after my first semester at LSU. Dad said he would only pay tuition at USL going forward. Went home made grades at USL and took the USL $, got a full time job and supported myself at LSU. It was a tough decision. I damned near through in the towel and settled for USL. So glad I didn't.

Tulane- cost pretty much ended that plus being a diehard LSU fan.

I would've been accepted at UT-Austin, not by much though, and it was my favorite sports-wise. But I hated the thought of going to school in a concrete jungle.
So I chose SFA and Naco-Nowhere as a Forestry Management major.
Things went downhill from there.

I wanted to attend LSU, but my circumstances changed, so I stayed closer to home.

I kid, I kid. My favorite officer went to the Citadel. I’d have gone to Clemson had I not gone to CofC. Geology program at CofC > Clemson and there is nothing to do in Clemson aside from football.
Made the right choice.

How close are Sewanee and W&L academically? Those three schools all seem pretty far apart.

Almost went to Purdue and Clemson...ended up at MSU for undergrad and LSU for grad school.
