And I’m a millennial piece of shite too

Some folks don't have a silver spoon in their mouth from birth baw.

I'm far from a silver spoon
I moved back in like twice. Once while my old house was being built and another when I moved over here and found a place to live.

Went off to college at 18 and came home for summer after the first year. So 19 I guess.
Same. Got an apartment with a friend I made during the first year. Bought my first house at 24. Well, got my first mortgage.

I'm 37 and I still live with my folks. Got it pretty good, why leave?

I was 38 when I left your mom's nest last night.

this thread explains a lot millennials suck so bad because their parents left the house without having a damn clue of how to take care of themselves. of course they would have no clue with kids later on down the line
I'm guessing most of the ones who left at 17/18 are gen X'ers like myself. There are some millennials out there though that don't want to stay at home forever . Just blows my mind how many people allow their kids to stay at home till their 25 or older these days.

Most of my high school friends would commute to college, but I stayed in a dorm first two years and got an apartment last three years of college and about 4 years after.
I bought a house in April of 2017. I think my mother would be content to come live with me now
I know some people though who moved back in with their parents after college. It's not a bad way to save money at all. Rent/mortgage for a decent home in MS is anywhere from 600-1,000 dollars a month. If you're living at home, you can pocket that money every month for a few years then buy a really nice home with a good down payment when you're finally ready to leave the nest for good.

Smoking and drinking at 9.
Sex at 12.
Lied about my age and joined Marines at 14.
College on G.I. Bill at 17.
Took my Bachelors and 4.0 and got a medical sales job at 19.
Got my supermodel wife and ridiculously tricked out heavy-duty truck at 20.
Sorry, what was the question? Too busy OTing to remember.

See this is where this question just lets people fudge how independent they were.
