Let him catch the ball and then tackle him inbounds.

Boom. Game over.

Granted how the officials were calling the game, they probably would've called that shite.

Fans, hell, human beings hold each other up. It's a game. He's a good player and will bounce back. Any fricker on here got something to say to him, say it to his face.

Hundreds of times a day people are fired across the country for egregious errors they have been trained, told, and taught not to make. He essentially did the one thing you don’t do on that play.

Can someone post a link? Only think that will make me feel better and get over this quickly is seeing him deeply depressed. It's actually good for him that he feels that way. He needs to cope with this now rather than letting it eat at him

Good. I hope he crimes some more. He needs to truly understand how badly he fricked up here and accept the consequences for it. frick feeling sorry for guy paid millions to play a game.

You can always tell those who don’t have a lot of shite going on in their lives.

Nobody feels worse than this kid. Hopefully he becomes an all pro after this.

Marcus Williams had a spectacular rookie season, and could have a stellar career. He was trying to make the right decision and not interfere. As a competitor, I'm sure he's crushed. I invite Nola to be encouraging and supportive as well as we move on.

No interfere? He had his shoulders down for the hit before the receiver jumped for the pass?

I'd rather him feel bad about it and learn from it instead of shrugging it off and moving on

One of the most basic plays in football and the worst situational decision I have ever seen. He deserves to never earn another dollar playing football.

Yeah. You right. He’s really a great kid. Super Bowls are over rated. He did his job. Just made a bad choice. Pay him another million. He was close to tackling. Wasn’t his fault.

College game I’d agree with you. This is professional football.

Kickers get fired for missing kicks. No one ever cares then.

He needs to be sent on his way

If I made that egregious of an error at work, I’d be fired.

That's because you are easily replaceable. It's not that easy to replace him with a safety who has the same high ceiling.

Dude is fricking done in a Saints uniform. He may have a good long NFL career but it'll have to be in a different uniform for him to mentally get over it.

Wow! What an over-reaction!

Why should we feel sorry for someone who is paid millions of dollars to not frick up like this?
1. I never asked you to feel sorry for him, WTF are you talking about?

2. What's the point of bringing up his salary? If you choose to feel sorry for people based on how much money they make, you're a pretty shitty human being, congrats on that.

quote:

And if it happens, fix the frick up as soon as he can?
It happened, how exactly would you like him to fix it? And how soon can he fix it for you?

quote:

If he can't fix it, then he's in the wrong line of work.

You're not making any sense, fwiw.

He’s younger than a lot of college players. He turned 21 this fall.
