Several donors to the program will be shutting off the funds they give to the university by Friday.

We the public of course will hear nothing about this.

Let me just say, LSU could have avoided all of this by hiring anyone else.

The fake leaks, Gilbert being interviewed, etc..

The reason for this was ultimately to keep our boosters funneling in cash. From the panic my buddy called me talking about, it looks like the fake news failed.

That was one hell of a search, coach O.

The Tee Martin news was "broken" at an interesting time. Probably damage control leak by LSU.

It's a shame that Ensminger is being dumped on in this firestorm. None of this is his fault. The pressure on him is going to be far greater than on any other OC. I hope he does well in spite of the choice.

Nothing is going to happen. Nothing at all. It should, but it won’t. TAF doesn’t have any frickin’ teeth anymore. If they ever had any to begin with.

This won't end well. I kind of feel sorry for Ensminger.

I can tell you this much, I'm no booster, but I have been donating to the university general fund and athletic department, beyond the standard TAF dues, for the past 5 years.

Not anymore.

I un-followed LSU Football on Facebook the other day. I know they're feeling the heat from that. But, you gotta do what you gotta do sometimes.

My emotion since Delly broke the news the other day has been a mixture of utterly furious and absolutely complacent at the same time. Kinda schizophrenic I guess.

I knew that Delly wouldn't report it unless he was very assured that it would happen. But I reserved judgement until it was official.

Now that it's official, I feel the same. I'm utterly furious and absolutely complacent at the same time. I'm not burning my apparel or anything, but I'm not renewing on my TAF dues. This hire has exposed the absolute corruption within the LSU administration to the point that any forthcoming denial is beyond contest. I expect things to get very interesting now...
