My source who told me way back at end of November that canada would be gone....

O had a lot of input last year when E was interim. Canada is gone because O wouldn't stop getting involved. Now O can be involved again. Also said very few established OCs would walk into the current situation. TFWIW.

I'd buy that.

And why does Orgeron want so much input into the offense? He's his own worst enemy, and I don't understand why he doesn't get that.

Canada was one of the hottest OCs in football got railroaded and is now unemployed. I'm sure many coaches across the country took note.

Because he's Lyin' Ed. He told us he learned his mistakes from Ole Miss and would stay in his lane. But it was all lies folks.

Every HC sits down and formulates a game plan with his coordinators for every game.

Don’t pretend all HCs just sit there without providing input.

He did have good things to say about E as an OC but that O would have his fingerprints all in it.

Errbody knows this is O's motivation. Still wants to micromanage the O.

I say good. The sooner he sinks this ship and DA can take over, the better. Just wish it could happen without having to sacrifice next season.

That's ridiculous. O's input on the offense should be limited to going for it or not going for it on 4th down, and, uh........that might be it.

Because he knows his job is on the line and he rather sink giving it HIS try than trust someone else. He feels he knows what we need and how good offenses from USC did it and he can repeat it and at least try and control his fate other than someone else like a Canada type who will get him fired with a bad season and while they will move on as a OC he will be back to that old darn DL position never to be on top again... that and some people can't handle the power that comes with being on top

Whoa, whoa, whoa, the rants been telling me Coach O learned lessons from his Ole Miss days and wouldn't repeat them.

Guess ole special ed didn't really learn much except how to stab Miles in the back and twist Alleva around like a puppet.

Georgia's OC is making 850K a year. you don't think we can get someone for twice that amount?

Sure they do. But O was specifically supposed to be mostly hands off and let his coaches coach.

O knows about 10% about offense as Canada.

no one in their right mind wants to damage their career coming to LSU to coach offense just to have their plays stepped on by the head coach

Apparently, you must have to blow it out the top of the Stubborn Azz Meter to be either the HC at LSU or the AD.

Les stubbornly wouldn't change the offense and got fired. Apparently, ole Ed-O has that over the top stubbornness as well. Looks like the result will be the same.

Sad for us Tiger fans.
