Agreed. Was wondering if she had a private coach that was steering her to Eugene.

I'm staring at all 3 rosters and don't see these people listed. Are these nicknames? Wrong board?

Stauber is not listed because she is no longer on the team.

She’s eligible immediately and will make her debut for the Ducks next week.

3 of the top 6 performers all-time at women’s 100m (including low altitude collegiate record holder), #4 AT 200m woman, #1, 3, 4 AT women’s 4x100; #3 AT women’s 4x2; 4th fastest school ever at women’s 4x4.

All coached directly by Shaver.

Also, 7th fastest woman 100m hurdler in world history. NCAA record men’s 4x400.

That’s pretty clearly the resume of a great coach without even getting into the men he has coached (Olympic silver medalist) or any of the individual titles and All American recipients he coached directly.

Newsflash: LSU doesn’t have the resources ($$$ and scholarships) of schools like Florida, A&M, Arkansas, and Oregon. Losing to them doesn’t make Shaver a bad coach.

Here is the real inside story

Last years distance coach (khadevus robinson), who was her coach and thy reason she came here (he was one of the best 800m runners in US history), was fired bc he is crazy. Long story but Shaver was justified for letting him go. Got a lot of Kids hurt

She transferred probably bc LSU has a new coach for distance runners and Cross Country. Mark Rinker. He’s a good young coach and will be good for LSU. Ruby and Mark may have just not been a good fit or she wanted a fresh start after a coaching change

Truth. KD had success recruiting middle distance, but is actually insane. He makes Orgeron look like vince Lombardi.

Maybe just because Oregon gets a lot of attention. Doesn't have to be something negative about LSU.

Clearly you are new to the Rant. It ALWAYS has to be something negative about LSU!

I don't believe that at all.

We have the resources. We might not use them but we have the resources.

= not having the same level of resources as Oregon, Florida, Texas A&M & Arkansas (from track's perspective).
