Like your BIL is going to shoot that kid for doing something he did at 16. That dude should have called his bluff and made your BIL either prove he would use it or not.
I’m a gun owner and have a 15 year old daughter. I would never do something as childish as that. If you want to talk to the kid about your expectations of how he is to treat your daughter that’s perfectly acceptable but to have a gun on your hip is just being a dick!(unless he is a cop and always has one)
