Come to LSU to run your offense. We have some stud athletes that will make you look great. I will also b3 here to guide you and point out any errors or mistakes to help you and our offense to get even better.

No, I was not an OC previously.

No, I have not offense at all in the past.

But, I am the head coach and we do what I want and because of that I can teach you a great deal about offense and play calling.

Come on down.

You know the inner circles of coaches likely know the full story about the Troy game and all the rumors swirling about the conflict between him and O. If the stories that came out of the locker room afterwards about them nearly getting in a fist fight are true, you’re going to have a tough time getting some one as sought after as Canada was to come in.

yeah cause schools are knocking down the doors to hire Canada they can't believe LSU would let this gem get away! How dumb! Michigan? Rice? Arkansas? ULL? Hell why didnt A&M try to get him and Aranda and really stick it to LSU?

Maybe Coach O is more respected in the coaching circle than Canada? He's been around longer and when he works for you he dedicated to YOU! But nah, he talks with a S Louisiana accent, must be a dumbass!

Y'all must have missed Saban chewing his OC's arse the other night because he didn't like the way his OC was running the offense. How is Saban any different than Coach O? If Saban doesn't like the way the offense is being run, he will damn well make it know he wants it changed. However, he's never run or coached offense. With that said, everyone on this board would trade Coach O for Saban in a heartbeat.

At the time of his hire, he was the best available OC. Everyone on this board was giddy to have him.

O just Fired the best OC.

I guess you are right. They never said anything about keeping them just hiring them.

First off, don't compare Ed Orgeron to Nick Saban. That's just ridiculous.

Secondly, Saban was chewing his OCs arse because he was still tying to throw the ball and they had control of the game already. He wanted him to run the ball and eat the clock up instead of giving them the ball back without taking any time off the clock at all.

That's the difference. Saban wasn't meddling with his offensive philosophy but was just telling him to run the damn ball and get the game over with. That's what a head coach should do. He should manage the game and that's exactly what Saban was doing.
