As a percentage of their population, black women have a very high college and post-graduate enrollment. That certainly doesn't necessarily equate to being intelligent or even educated, but thats likely what people who claimed they are the most educated are referring to.

Indeed.

The reality is that even though they have higher #s enrolled and graduate, they tend to have the lowest $ rates amoung all races. Even compared to men of their own race.

Education as the media defines it is not a definition of better SES. It hasn't been the only indicator for a LONG time.

On this very board you see people claim they make around 6 figures with an AS in process technology. Degree type means more than anything. Connections matter more so.

Ah,

so they logged a lot of hours in what the government defines as a college.

Makes sense.

This is probably true, worked with a great young lady (she was black) had her MBA and several minors but my she was dense. She came into our business unit (Construction/Engineering) with a background in HR and sales. Was not a very good fit, she needed to be back in the HR department. Always had a very positive attitude regardless of the circumstances so that kept her around for quite awhile but she eventually had to sink or swim and, well, she couldn't swim.

That sounds like great news for the future of that demographic. Will need a generation before we can evaluate how meaningful this observation is but certainly not a bad thing.

Being born a black female is pretty much a cheat code for anyone who has any kind of ambition.
