My whole point was the believers in the Big Bang all heap scorn or believers in God because we have no “proof”.

More correctly, you have no evidence.

1) that's dumb. there's evidence to support the Big Bang and whatnot. there's no evidence to support theism.
2) the Christian victim complex is unreal

I love when people spout random bullshite about Christianity and market it as absolute fact without any idea of what they're talking about.

Honest answer? There is no way to know for sure.

How did you "aim" your faith at Christianity as opposed to a different religion/deity?

Jeezum, did I strike a nerve?

Look if you want to believe in your thing then it's fine, nobody's stopping you.

But you and your kind need to quit the word games switching "faith" with reason. It's a disservice to your faith and a huge disservice to the thousands of years of reason that it took to get here.

Why does science threaten you so much that you feel the need to discredit it? Why do you resort to such unscrupulous and dishonest tactics? Why not just keep your faith and allow others to employ their judgement?

Was there a Big Bang? Possibly. There is evidence it happened.

Was it the event that created everything? No. There is zero evidence of this.

Proof of God? You see God in His creation. If you don’t see Him it’s because you reject and choose to not see him.

But you did claim to know. You even said that the only reason we don't know is because we "reject and choose to not see him."

Provide any testable, observable, direct evidence of any deity whatsoever.

You can't. But that doesn't matter. Science and religion are two completely separate entities. Science seeks to understand what is observable and testable in the natural world. While religion (or existence of God) deals with the supernatural or spiritual. It can't be proven or disproved by science because it is not something existing in the natural world. And that's fine, because science doesn't seek to prove or disprove the supernatural or spiritual. Science is only concerned with providing a better understanding of the natural world.

That's why I think we're wasting a lot of time and effort on this thread trying to discuss the existence of God through science. We're not going to get anywhere trying to argue over this because both science and religion deal with two completely different things.

We need to move this discussion back to the Big Bang, and stop discussing whether we think God exists.

No, just calling a spade a spade like I always do. You know I pull no punches. If someone is acting like a fool. I call them a fool. And you’re a ting like a fool.

I’m not threatened by anything nor am I being dishonest or unscrupulous. All I’ve done is ask legitimate questions which have yet to be answered. In fact I do not recall engaging you at all in this thread. That being the case, why is it that instead of answering my legitimate questions you chose instead to lauch petty insults at me? Unless you have something of substance (or at least your usual ignorant yet amusing quips) to contribute to the conversation, what good do you serve here?

Wrong. I said it requires faith. My belief in God is based solely on my faith in Him. I said you don’t see him because you reject and choose to not see him. This means you lack faith in him. You either choose to have faith or choose to not have faith.

Your problem is you have a fundamental lack of understanding of what faith is. You think faith is something that just happens on it’s own. But what you fail to understand is that faith (just like love) is a conscious action. You choose to have faith in something or not.

1. What was this dense singularity made from?

2. Where did the matter that made up the dense singularity originate?

3. what process caused whatever matter constituted the dense singularity to form the dense singularity?

4. How could something this dense also be hot? As has already been stated, for something to be hot, there must be movement. How can something infinitly dense also have movement to create heat?

5. If the dense singularity was indeed hot, what caused it to heat up?

6. And finally, what force caused this dense singularity to explode? And where did this force originate? What triggered this force to interact with the dense singularity and cause it to explode?

All good questions, and my answer would be that we don't yet know. But luckily humans are curious people and some created what we know to be science...where we question the world around us and use evidence and proof to learn more and more every day, and don't simply accept as fact everything that was written in a book a couple thousand years ago. The pace of knowledge and understanding by humans is accelerating at a crazy pace, and I for one welcome our new science overlords.

Seems to me a theist would be interesting in discovering the rules of the universe their god set up.

You'd think, but they seem to be satisfied with, "God did it," and insist that the rest of us be as content with that explanation. Their anger towards science and scientists is interesting in that they could completely ignore them and just live their lives in peace.
